Last time LEGO ran a contest like this it was Star Wars and they admitted to me via email that they had not watched most of the entries before selecting finalists from the first few that were submitted. (So I spent months on my entry and they didn't watch it) I don't really trust them to be reasonable with judging but then the prizes aren't too enticing anyway.
I suppose I could put together the third Cashman film idea I had. (A gritty "reboot" with a new Cashman design and different actors)
So, instead of making other DC SuperHero sets....like, oh, say, Teen Titans, Lego decided to make more Batman sets.
This and what Smeagol said makes this contest look pretty meh.

LEGO really dropped the ball on the previous Batman line, cancelling it just as interest (fueled by the videogame) took off. There's been a lot of demand for the line (just look at the aftermarket prices). I'm not surprised that LEGO wants a rehash of Batman. It'd also be my guess that if the line is initially successful, we'll see more diverse characters from both Marvel and DC's catalogs.

I would personally love to see an official LEGO Iron Man. The brickfilming possibilities are endless... maybe the X-Men too? I have to say, I did enjoy the Batman line, but I became interested a little too late, managing to snag one set before it was discontinued.

Just in case you missed it, Genzarata. ![]()
I want to see LEGO the Big Lebowski.
I think a lot of Coen Brothers movies would be cool in LEGO.
Barton Fink is my personal top pick to be recreated in LEGO.
I want to see LEGO the Big Lebowski.
Make it so.
I would like to see them do sets for Seven. That would be awesome.
Heck, after I found out that the majority of Quentin Tarantino's films are technically owned by Disney - I want all kinds of merchandise! Including rides at Disneyland, LEGO lines, soft toys, awful tie-in games, the works!

Oh. I see. The Avengers AND X-Men. Mind = Blown. Thanks for that.
Guys, this is my official resignation, if you will, from BiM.
Recently, I've been bombarded with school and work, and everything of that sort. I love all of you, hell, I've grown up with some of you, and not to sound too melodramatic, but it's hard to say goodbye. Yes, I've fought some of you, but if I ever insulted any of you, know I didn't mean it. I don't have time to visit forums about brickfilming anymore, and brickfilming is just not my interest anymore. I probably could just disappear as I usually do, but I want you guys to know that you guys made 2 years of my life awesome when I was active here. Thank you to all of my friends here. Some of the earlier guys who I knew from the Refugee Camp maybe I'll skype you or something sometime, but I'm too flogged down with my personal life to visit this site anymore. I really don't know what to type, to be honest. This all seems so dramatic, but I just have to share this you guys. Maybe I'll pop up once in a while like I usually do, but I just don't know.
I mostly am writing this just to show how much you guys have changed my life. Seriously. My total outlook on social and virtual life is totally different from what it was 3 1/2 years ago. But you guys made it better, and in hard times stuck with me when no one else was.
Smeagol: Thank you for creating this amazing community, I don't know how you do it, and how you manage to keep it running as smoothly as it seems to be, but seriously; thank you.
Jargon: I can't tell you how much your insight and kindness has changed my outlook. You're the main reason I started looking into politics, to be honest.
FancyPants (if you're still active here): You were so polite and amazingly kind through out my stay here, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being there to talk to me once in a while in chat.
Everyone else: It may seem so ridiculous to write to people I've never even met before something so long and dramatic, but this is such a weird thing to do. It's like moving away from your childlife home. I can't thank you guys enough, and I love every single one of you. <3
Thank you! I'll never ever forget BiM, you guys have changed my life. ![]()
Farewell, partner. What is your Skype, so I may add you?
(And FancyPants has taken his leave for his mission, some Mormon thing, won't be back for 2 whole years)
I wish you the best, wherever you go.

Thank you for the info, Tim. My skype is 'itzkayjaay' for anyone wondering. It's not my main one, but I'll probably be on there every couple of days.
Never said I wouldn't ![]()
I only know you for the first months I've been to BiM. It's always quite sad when someone leaves. So, good bye. I wish you good luck.
