Re: What was the last movie you watched?

How awesome is Jeff Bridges? Not to mention Robert Duvall. Great film.

Keoma
An exceptional spaghetti western, probably the best I've ever seen sans the Dollars Trilogy. The only nitpick I have is that the music was a little annoying. Other than that, wow.

Love that movie. I kind of liked the music, though listening to it for too long does make it annoying.
It was mainly the singing, to be honest. Everything else about the music was pretty good.
Transformers.
It was AMAZING AWESOME! ![]()
Halloween.
It was... AMAZING AWESOME!
Transformers.
It was AMAZING AWESOME!
Enjoy while you can... It's the only good Michael Bay's Transformers film out of the whole trilogy
after the 1st. one he forgot what the word "Plot" means and he started filming explosions and action scenes only...
EDIT: This is a more appropriate video with the same theme, but without Robot Chicken's crude humour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHLgeNqjrYw
I do have a film though:
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
I'm really annoyed that the amazing fight scene at the end of the book wasn't included in this, but the film was decent nonetheless. According to my friend (who hasn't read the books), apparently there was 'too much talking and not enough magic'. I forgive him though; he's a muggle.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
I like how Draco Malfoy's voice hasn't changed in 10 years. Anywho, still a decent film, though I don't remember the greenscreen effects to be so awful.
Oh I hated that movie. I couldn't tell what was going on the whole time ,it was like they filmed it with the lens cap still on! (get the boom microphone out of my face...)
Turtle Diary
This was a really good film. It was about these people who wanted to save the sea turtles. It was nice cuz they got rid of the cheesy romantic plot most of these movies have. And turtles.
I can't believe they never released it on DVD. Golly, I must be the only 13 year old who knows how to operate a VCR.
Here's something to ponder. Try to think of a feature-length film that does not have a romantic plot or subplot. Not really that easy, is it. That's why I liked this movie so much better than most. And the turtles. And there's Dumbledore in it too.
Psycho
If this film were made today, it'd still be ballsy. So good.
Everyone goes a little mad sometimes.

I saw Harry Potter last night. It was pretty cool, but the 3D was awful. I wanted to see it in 2D although I was vetoed. The 3D wasn't too bad though, it was still fun. I was sceptical about having the film split into two parts, since it kinda seemed like they were trying to squeeze whatever cash they could out of the franchise before they had to let it go, but I think it worked out for the best in the end.
Spoiler (click to read)
During the final scene, Ron as a 30-something year old looked like a fat bum, which was kinda weird when you saw him next to Emma Watson, who is super hot.
As much as I liked the movie, that ending was just terrible. Ron was actually the only one who managed to look old. The others either looked the same or ridiculous (Ginny).

A Seperation
Well acted and directed but I wasn't very engaged, and the yelling just got tedious after a while.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
Well, I certainly enjoyed it, however, I did have one gripe.
After Harry "died," and the Death Eaters were being all boastful and stuff, I felt that everyone on the GOOD side were severely underacting, especially Bonnie Wright (Ginny). To recap, one of her brothers has just died, and it certainly looks like the love her life has snuffed it as well. What is her reaction? Screaming "NO!" once or twice, and that was only for the latter. Maybe she was a little solemn for both, but really? The death of her brother should have had her in tears; the "death" of the love of her life, so soon after the death of her brother, should have rendered her inconsolable. Maybe I just misunderstand her character, and Ginny is supposed to seem "tough," but I rather doubt it.]
My attention definitely wasn't 100% on the screen, though. Perhaps a second viewing might change my mind. Anyway, besides that, I thought it was a very good ending to the series.
