Topic: Temporary tripod?

Hey,

I have got to the stage in stopmotion where I am trying hard to get good camera angles, however since my tripod is a huge tripod (which I have to click in the feet to make it so it is shorter), it means I cannot move it around the set.

If I wanted to get a shot where it was a sideways view of what I had before, then I would have to move the camera, or the set. If I move the camera, I am at risk of making bumps. Should I just move the set, and not the camera?

Make one out of LEGO. Then, when you want to switch angles, just tear down a little bit and rebuild in order to get the angle.

If you have a dollar tree or something like it you can get a $1 tripod that fits in your pocket which is perfect for fitting in small spaces.

I use a Webcam,so that means i just rotate it and it moves.But i have to tape it down so i don't move it.

I have tried building a tripod out of lego. Worked with the webcam perfectly...But with the canon eos 550d it does not fit around the bricks/when it does, it bumps
