Camera Movement: My logitech QuickCam pro for Mac (kinda forgot what it really is called...) Was taped to my old Nintendo DS(lol) so I just moved the Ds from side to side!
I actually tried it to look a bit like RobBricks entry! ![]()
Here's my entry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVrd0J8Tw94
The effect was made by moving the tripod a tiny bit each frame.
THIS IS NOT MY ENTRY
but it was something I did a way while ago, just to show what the earthquake effect could look like in Post-Production.

Not my favorite. It could be a good camera shake or something. ![]()
You have to understand that if your using a webcam this challenge will be harder. So can we use Post-Production on this one? For the webcam users sake.
Boardron said that that was also allowed so yes I think you may use it. ![]()
(I'm looking forward to your entry!)

Animation Challenge
It's supposed to be hard. What's the point if it is simple?

How would using a webcam make this harder?
I think he means creating the shaking effect by using the camera would be more difficult as opposed to using an editing software.
Actually, it would be harder to use an editing software to obtain the unpredictability of an earthquake. I would simply move the camera small, but random distances in random directions.

Also a very nice entry! Judging is going to be hard for this challenge.

Agreed.

It's not like it's impossible to do camera movement with a webcam. I've done it. I use Lego-built rigs that attach to my Lego-built webcam cradle. Besides, this is an Animation Challenge, it's supposed to be hard.
