I agree. Todd Solondz is amazing. Palindromes is kind of a sequel to that, if you're interested.
Sunshine. It's decent. If anything, it's worth watching for the scene 'Capa's Jump.' The cinematography, the music, it all comes together at that point - certainly in my top 20 scenes of all time.

The Perfect Storm
Once they were fishing and the storm comes, the tension never ends. It's based on a true story which makes you think even more things like "Oh my god!" and "People actually went through this?!"
If your looking for a good flick like Deadliest Catch, then this is a good one for you.

I know the tale of the Andrea Gail well. Gloucester is about 50 miles from where I live, and I've seen the names of the six fisherman on the "Man at the Wheel" statue.

Are you talking about Romero's version or the remake by Zack Snyder in 2004? I'm pretty sure you mean Romero's movie but I still would like to know whether I'm right or not 
P.S. Both movies were great though!

Pixar is as formulaic is it gets, but they do manage to entertain greatly.

Yeah, the original. Although the 2004 remake was one of the best remakes I've ever seen.

Who needs drugs when you have this movie! I feel a sudden need to wear awesomely unfashionable shirts and walk around with a fly-swatter.
The first half of the movie was brilliant, the second half begun to falter a little. But its still awesome. Don't watch unless you know that Hunter S Thomson and Gonzo are the worst role-models in the world and this movie is presenting what the American Dream actually is. We are not supposed to like anyone in this movie - and its supposed to feel like your on a drug trip. If this sounds interesting: I think you'll like it.

The Lord of the Ring: The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition (ON BLU-RAY 
)
Totally epic. Lord of the Rings is such a great series. Everything so perfect and wonderful, amazing battles, great locations, fabulous acting, cool quotable lines throughout, one of the best film scores ever, I could just go on, and on.
Extended edition is pretty nice, adds some nice extra stuff which really makes the movie better. And explains a few things in a little more detail.
