Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Thor
That was epic.
I found plotholes though.
But who cares, it was epic.
Problem was, their design for Bifrost was pathetic. It looked like a computer chip, not a double rainbow all the way across the sky!

Superman: The Movie
This one was on Netflix and I had to watch it ~ it had once been one of my favorite movies when I was a kid... wow I had poor tastes in movies back then
Yeah, I know how you feel. I used to genuinely like Batman and Robin when I was a kid.
Hehe.
I never liked any of the Superman movies much.
Except the one with "Radiation Man" when I was younger.
Is that Quest For Peace..?
The Initiation of Sarah (1978)
Kinda came off as a Carrie knock-off to me.
X-files: I want to believe
That was terrible. The plot was boring and hard to sit through, the pacing was off, the god talk was annoying and delightful, and some scenes are just shot so badly it was almost funny. Were we supposed to care about that chick dieing? I assume so, as it was filmed so dramatacilly but after that they just completely ignore it and none of the characters seemed to care, even though they were obviously supposed to. And I guess the only function the black guy had was to give sarcastic remarks. The "dramatic" conversations between the two main characters really didn't make any sense, were vague and boring and obviously just put in there to have some kind of an emotional scene, which didn't work at all. And why the huge subplot with the sick kid? It should have been mentioned for maybe five minutes because it didn't matter at all but half the movie was about that, and I'm really getting sick of lazy writers putting sick or handicapped children in their film because they want us to care. No, create an interesting 3-dimensional character and I might feel for the character. Just because he/she has no limbs doesn't mean I give a crap.
Transformers 3D
Decent movie. Only problem was it just dragged on and on.
3/5
Tombstone
Damn Good.
"I'm your huckleberry."
Tell me why this didn't get any oscars? Or even nominations?
4/5
Paul
It was okay, I think the movie had way more potential and could have been way better. Mainly Seth Rogen and Kristen Wiig were funny in this one, I didn't think Pegg and Frost were that good in this one, which was dissapointing. And the obvious scifi references didn't bother me like it did some people.
BATMAN BEGINS (2005)
It's the third time I have watched it and it's so good! Not better than The Dark Knight because there's no Heath's Joker in it BUT in my honest opinion Batman Begins is underrated. After all thanks to Christopher Nolan and this movie the Batman franchise has been rebooted AND it finally brought this darkness and realism into the comic book character movies.
4/5 because C. Murphy as the Scarecrow ownz!
Superman: The Movie
This one was on Netflix and I had to watch it ~ it had once been one of my favourite movies when I was a kid... wow I had poor tastes in movies back thenThe acting was sub-par, the plot-line lacking, and Lex Luther was an over-glorified real estate agent. The ending made it all worth it though, it was pretty cheesy.
Oh, 'Superman 2' is awesome though! I mean....it has General Zod!
Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade
Pacing was a little off but a very decent anime nontheless.
The Perfect Storm
Fantastic film, really really good. Took a while to get going, but after that it was action non-stop.
The only thing I disliked was the ending:
nobody lived. I know it was based off a true story, but I still thought it was a shame that all the main characters died. At least the helicopter crew (minus 1) all survived.
But still a brilliant film, I liked the bit with the shark!
Transformers 3: Dark of the moon
Even worse then I expected, it's really horrible. Barely anything made any sense when you think about it. It was amazingly boring and the 3D barely made a difference. All it did was give me a headache, so I have no idea why people are saying the 3D is great, if this is the best 3D can be then it's really not worth the extra money. Worst film of the year so far, Michael Bay should just stop making movies.
Ub Iwwerks: The Hand Behind The Mouse
An absolutely wonderful documentary, I was pretty much enthralled the whole time. It's on the second disc of "Disney Treasures: Oswald The Lucky Rabbit", so if you ever find this DVD anywhere, buy it because not only does it have all of the really old Disney cartoons, it also has a feature length documentary about Ub Iwwerks (special effects/animation mastermind).

Castle in the Sky
Pretty awesome anime film. The whole thing felt somewhat cliché but it's all done really well.
I was about to see The Green Lantern today when a guy next to me said, "Don't watch it" in an ominous voice and a slightly crazed expression on his face. I didn't watch it.
Magnolia
Whoah. Amazing film. The whole thing was like a three hour long dance. Really eager to see There will be Blood now.
National Treasure
Great action/adventure film and has historical reference too
Its a must-see!
5/5
Welcome to the Dollhouse
Hilariously depressing movie. Also, here's my full Transformers 3 review: http://vikverplanken.tumblr.com/
