Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The acting was poor, the story was silly, the action was boring, and the humor was insulting.
That's all just my opinion, of course.

Actually, Technically, you disagree 60%, since I made a total of five points in my post, one being the movie was inappropriate, another being it has nice effects. Seeing as you love that movie, I'd guess you enjoy the visual effects as well.
Therefore, agreeing with 2 of my 5 facts, you disagree 60%.

Haha sorry. xD

And that's all about what this is. Opinions. mini/smile
It's okay to have them conflicting, as long as you don't let it get ugly.

I have no actual wish to see the third one, but It's better than being at home as I stated..

TRON (Original)
Oh. My. God.
It was probably the absolute worst movie I have ever seen.
Not only did it have no story whatsoever, but all the characters were constantly stating the obvious.

It has a story for your information, a rather good one at that, even though being a little far-fetched it is a wonderfully original idea. So try to pay attention and not be distracted by the poor graphics. The characters state the obvious because it's funny, what else are you gonna make fun of in a Disney sci-fi movie without the slightest hint of comedic possibilities besides some sex-related humor, which, as I said would not be allowed in a Disney film.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The original Tron is pretty bad, yeah.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Yes, it has a slow script and painfully dark and simple CGI, I still love it with all my heart.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

It was rather slow, compared to modern, the effects where horrible.
But I still enjoyed the movie. mini/smile
Not my favorite, not the best, but it was good. I enjoyed watching it, and am glad I did.
Without Tron, CGI effects would never have really advanced. We would never have the awesome stuff like Pixar movies we have now.
And I actually thought some of them quite impressive at times.
The story I thought was pretty original. I've seen loads of knockoff stuff were people get sucked into video games.
xD
I don't really expect most people to enjoy that movie, but it was good. mini/smile

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I saw Tron: Legacy. Loved it. I have also seen the original Tron

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I liked the Tron original better but Tron Legacy was epic sauce.

EDIT: OMG it sounds like I'm talking about flavors of potato chips.

Well, I just saw
Harry Potter 7 Pt. 1
And I was for some reason unimpressed. Everything everywhere seemed perfect, so I don't know why I didn't enjoy some of it. Maybe the beginning seemed to rushed for me.

Yeah, it was basically a bunch of action tossed together, with a love conflict in the middle. Didn't care for it. Maybe the final chapter will wrap it up, but meh.

This is from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", released by Disney in 1988.

Howl

It was pretty good.  I don't dig Franco's reading voice... but once you look past that it's an awesome message about how censorship needs to go away.

Technically it was released by Touchstone Pictures, which admittedly IS Disney, but not at the same time.

I Haven't seen any of the Transformer movies, and I'm not interested in watching them.

Wild Blue Yonder
Some time ago, from the same director I saw Encounters at the end of the world, which I absolutely loved. Now this, this movie is complete poetry. The guy tells us about space travels and shows some footage from the space shuttle, A liquid world with a frozen sky and stock footage from antartic. Overall, this movie is beautiful. 5/5
