The smoke trail, or the smoke that is blown out the back of the launcher?
Seems like you have no idea what you're asking for. Perhaps you should clarify with a video reference.

the only programs i have managed to get are WAX and Lightworks.

bengreenow, you should be able to create bazooka like effects with those two programs. You can use WAX to composite and add little details and what not, and Lightworks to stuff the finished project together.
