Topic: Good Stop Motion Cameras That Work With Macs?

Will Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000s work with an iMac?
If not, please share what will.

Re: Good Stop Motion Cameras That Work With Macs?

I asked this same question a while back and if I recall correctly they do not work with mac. Someone back me up on that though cuz I'm not sure.

Re: Good Stop Motion Cameras That Work With Macs?

The regular Quickcam Pro 9000 does not work on a MAC.  There is a MAC version of the webcam but it lacks the manual settings for focus, contrast and the many others needed to brickfilm properly.

Anything is probably better then my crappy Olympus FE-230, well, it's not crappy, it's just not for brickfilming.

You can bootcamp your Mac to Windows... Then the lqcp 9000 Wil work, but off course only with Windows apps...

You could buy a cheap Windows XP disk(Windows 7 is a TON better though) and install it on your mac. Then you could switch between operating systems when you need to use different programs. Then you could use a logitech qcp9000.
