Well, actually, any body of water is a pool of water. Just not the usual type of man made pool with a diving board.
Can I make another entry?

Try to make a big splash that lasts for at least one second. 
I think you're underestimating how long a second is, especially in animation.

One second is 15 frames. Whats wrong with that? This is an animation challenge remember. 
EDIT: I don't want to see a flash of like 2 frames for your splash. :(I want a smooth splash:)

Our splash took around 7 frames, and it looks pretty smooth (I think). I don't think a splash should last around a second, because it would be too long (Unless it were a jump from Mt. Everest).
I don't get this...The title is 'Cannon Ball (in a pool)' yet...How come he did a person? Or is cannonball the type of jump? I dunno :\

IT's when you jump into a pool(You say "cannon ball!")
Sorry ZachFB, but I think this whole theme was not a good idea.
Just splash probably would have been more simple and better.

I don't entirely agree with that because of the fact that it is an animation challenge.

You weren't around at this time, but I must tell you that there was also a swimming challenge (In which, many people added dives, cannon balls, etc.)
