Re: Café Corner

Who's parents would let them make that?

Re: Café Corner

Have you seen half the stuff on YouTube? If the parents of those kids saw what they were doing, they wouldn't be on the computer for a long time.

I still imagine you as a bearded man lighting a cigarette from the last avatar trend. I don't mean 'imagine' in an odd way, just when I see your posts, it reminds me.

The best LEGO MUUVEY, to this day, remains to be this. It's a work of art.

I don't make Brickfilms. I trade virtual hats.

Re: Café Corner

Got a bunch of points on Disney Movie Rewards (I'm such a dork), so I redeemed a 2 disc DVD of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Yay me.

Also, I got Cars Special Edition at Target today, which comes with a free ticket to Cars 2. Aww yeah.

Re: Café Corner

Hey guys!
This summer I definitely plan on getting back into brickfilming, but only one thing.... I want to make music videos (giving me an easy excuse to not coming up with some crappy scripts and settings). I'd try to use songs that aren't copyrighted, or allowed on youtube, though I am afraid that someday I may regret this decision if (by 1/100000 chance in the universe) I get an opportunity at partnership, but won't be able to because of those videos. What do you guys (and girls) think I should do?

Re: Café Corner

Easy. Everything with copyrighted music, put somewhere else besides YouTube.

Re: Café Corner

You can still become a youtube partner with copyright infringing videos on your account.  You just can't enable revenue sharing on those videos.

However, I have heard that a general lack of original content videos hurts your chances of being accepted into partnership.  I think a little under half my videos had no copyrighted content in them when I was accepted.

I try to shy away from using copyrighted music.  I know you can still have it on your videos and be a partner, but, I'm not taking chances.

Also, it was my last day of school today!  YEAH!

This means I'll hopefully make more brickfilms with the oodles of free time I will have. mini/smile

Today was the last day I had to go to school. My last day of having classes was last week. I had to come back for a few tests (only last Wednesday, Thursday, and today). Now I have tons of time to animate!

I tried doing some animation tests while it was still light out yesterday, and no light flicker! Most of the light is blocked out from my animation room, but not all. Now I know I can animate before it gets dark out! I did some more tests today, but I really should finish Bricks: Episode 1 soon. I might do some animation for that tommorrow.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

I thought the concept was pretty epic, but the animation and the way it was executed was not so good. I like potty humor.

Re: Café Corner

Just so everyone knows, no matter if the My Little Pony avatar trend dies or not, I will never change my avatar.

THE PONIES ARE JUST SO DARN CUTE!

Re: Café Corner

Don't let the copyright holders stop you from making a music video.

Fight da powa'.

Only overprotective, boring parents would stop their children from animating if it's jut plasticine.

I searched British Grime Rap on youtube. Clicked on the first or second result. I made it through 45 secs. That is awful.
