URGGHH It makes me so mad that people who makes stupid videos that aren't funny and obviously took NO effort to make get MILLIONS of subscribers, and then most of these really good animators on the site have like 5!!!?!?! The brickfilms are infinitely superior, way funnier and more entertaining, and obviously had a lot of effort put into them, while people are just watching... TRASH!
Captain Obvious and the Man Eating Mailbox should be featured on the Youtube homepage, not Justin Beaver or Nigahiga!
I think that we should as a whole try to get more publicity for brickfilms so then people are watching worth-while videos instead of trolling the internet watching rubbish. Agreement?
Well, not all Brickfilms are worth watching (Hi, FF101). I think we should just bide our time, and then when the community as a whole is rid of unoriginal garbage we can begin to try to publicize.
I think one of the problems with it is Forrestfire being the top brickfilmer by subscribers. He really doesn't deserve that. xD Seriously, there are so many much better people in the world of brickfilming, but most likely, everyone will see him first instead of the good people. 
Which, in turn, makes them see our films. Forrestfire is good at what he does, which is entertaining.

Exactly my point! FF101 is an unoriginal unfunny brickfilmer who doesn't put effort into his videos and gets views by pretending he's funny by cussing all the time! People need to watch good videos brickfilms!
By the way, if you google "brickfilms" then our website only shows up way at the bottom. And it doesn't show up at all if you search "Lego movies." That's probably why people don't access good brickfilms, because they just get directed to the wastelands of brickfilms.com 
People think FF's films are funny. They enjoy them.
I honestly don't understand the fixation on this site in 'civilizing these primitive Youtubers who obviously don't know what they want'. They like FF's films. That's the bottom line. They don't need to be educated. The people who like other films watch other films. I agree that BiM needs to be more visible to the entry level brickfilmer, but acting like elitist snobs and complaining that our films aren't popular because people don't recognize greatness is really, really sad. If you want to make popular films, FF knows how to do that. If you want to make films you would enjoy, do that and forget about popularity. It's possible to do both, but if you really care about making quality films, you shouldn't care about being popular.
Of course, as irrelevant as it really is, the whole line of argument that FF's films don't take any effort to create is fairly pathetic on its own. Particularly in light of the fact that the animation in all of his most recent films is of a quality that would easily qualify them for 6 stars or better were he to submit them to our directory, in my opinion. You can't just deny that his films took effort because you didn't like the end result.

FF makes videos that average people that are not really into brickfilming want to see. Usually, people want to see Batman, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars videos, and FF makes them. People don't want to take the time to watch longer, more well thought of brickfilms, because they like the videos with the Copywritten themes, Batman, etc. I agree that is sad that many great brickfilmers are not as popular, and they're the ones who take more time and thought on their films. Though, it is smart for FF to once again, give the people what they want.
My smallish rant is over.
All of FF101's veiwers are obviously not brickfilmers themselves, and just as obviously not seen any film better than Forest's. They are probably pre-teen Lego fans who like the stuff that Lego makes into licensed themes. They find FF's videos, they see they have content and humor they like, and there. He gets tons of views and subs. Since good quality licensed-themed brickfilms are hard to find (because better animators make their own stories), and bad quality licensed-themed brickfilms are in abundance, these people see the low quality ones. Also, just because someone is the most popular doesn't mean they're the best. Popularity is based on other's opinions, and other peoples' opinions could be based in lack of knowledge.
Why does FF's videos always start arguments on here? Ha it gets a bit old.
It's because we don't think it's fair for a brickfilmer who doesn't put any effort or originality in his films to be so popular.
he doesn't even reinvent the Characters he's using, let alone have a Plot.... And I'm not a Great Brickfilmer, imagine what the others think(the Awesome ones)

Ok, yea, its good animating, i think, but when I see ONE film of his with a Original story and no cursing I'll have some respect.
I'm not jealous. I come up with my own story and my animtion is far better than his. In fact, I'm never going to make a licensed themed film.
