People, how do I say this? Slapping your name on a picture isn't a logo.
These are all logos:
Some of them are text, sure, but the text isn't just words in a font. The image is memorable.
I knew this would happen. I'm guessing mine sort of falls into your category of non-logos...?
I'm really not that creative though, I can't think of any original idea for a logo...

The black is just so you can see it properly.

By definition, that is what a logo is.
Lemme try that again. Yes, taking a picture and having people associate it with you is a logo, but taking a picture of a Lego minifigure and writing "Legobrickman98 productions" next to it in some font, that is not a logo.
So I'm guessing that you don't consider Nathan Well's and Mindgame's logos to be "proper" logos?
Just because they're Gods of animation doesn't mean EVERYTHING they do is awesome.

Yes that is most certainly true in the graphic design world but basic can look very effective and it can look very ineffective. It all depends on how you use it.

Btw, turn on anti-aliasing, I can see pixelation on the V.
I've been considering some updates to the logo, i.e. letting go of the Enron look and the Arial Black font.
