Hey guyz
So, i bought myself a nice orange Nikon S3000 a while ago, because it took nice pictures, and it worked with Istopmotion (i have mac). But, i could never get it to focus, but i thought nothing of it... but now, it waon't focus in macro mood at all, unless the object is like a foot away, which is not even macro!
So i was wondering if you peoplez had any ideas, i have looked through all the settings, and i can't get it to work...
anything?
Get another camera? That's what I did when a webcam I got couldn't focus close enough.
Google the problem, or sell the camera and buy a new one.

Also I've noticed this quite a lot recently. You can't tell people that their camera is rubbish and they should just buy a new one. Lots of us quite like our cameras. And lots of us can't afford to buy a new one.
Films are about creativity and persistence. Not what expensive software/hardware you have. You can throw all the money in the world at a film and still have it turn out terribly.
When someone asks for help with his camera, give him help with that camera.
I'm unsure but if your camera has removable lenses you will need to buy a macro lens and filters.
Like I said...try googling. I've done that lots of times and many of the times I found solutions.
According to the spec in macro mode it should be able to focus from 8 cm (about 3 inches???) and farther. So maybe the camera is broken. Take it to an authorized Nikon dealer preferably the one you bought it from, and have them take à look at it...

Call the company that made the camera.
