Hey everybody! I just wanted to apoligize because of posting all those contest ideas a while back. Now I know I should probably search before I post a contest. So now to the point of this forum post. I would be very grateful if you guy's could give me some original idea's for a contest (with prizes)

Well, for prizes, you're going to need a sponsor or some money. You are also going to have to be prepared to send the prizes to different countries. As for ideas, I would say just make an original concept. We had some ideas such as making an underwater film, a re-make of a film or book, a sports film, a western, a sci-fi (maybe a bit generic), or a romance. Also, acronyms tend to do well in a contest. For a romantic contest, you could do HEART (Heartwarming Entertaining Adventurous Romantic Tale.)
Something like this might work. Of course I might have to change it around a bit:
TRON: tell random obvious nutcase's
Then let's do it!:) me and JP will be the judges...is that ok with you JP? I still don't know what to do about the prizes though.

I'm sorry, but I don't think you should make a contest. There is already a lot going on and we don't need one right now. I like the idea though, so maybe you could announce it sometime in July or August?
I prefer HEART to be honest, it seems more unorthodox. And yeah, July would be a nice time.
I don't think you should make a contest here until you have spent more time here. Then people will accept your contest and you will get entries.
Binding Bricks is right. Most of what I remember from you is contest threads. You should wait a little bit and gain some recognition among other members.
I'm all for having a contest with the theme being to recreate a movie scene in LEGO, like they did years back on Brickfilms.com I believe.
Preferably in July or August as we already have 2 contests going.

I will do the contest! I need something to do. You could start it, yeah, next week (1st July), but the due date could be like August or something I guess
