@crazylegofan Thats like saying its ok to curse if you are good at animation but not if you stink.

It depends on what context you use it. Sometimes it fits, sometimes is useless, sometimes you use it to build your character (but you shouldn't abuse it). I do use it in real life, but not always, although I am horrified when I hear liettle children use swear words. It's our fault, but sometimes I just can't find a better word to exrpime myself (d'you know what I mean?).

Generally if you intend to make something for all audiences then it's wiser not to use cursing.
If you aim at mature audience, which there is who enjoys Lego films. It's up to the maker.
But expect younger or hypocrite audience won't appreciate cursing in most cases.

Funny thing: people get upset if you use certain words in brickfilm, but violence doesn't seem to be an issue.
I dare to suggest that there are more brick "killings" (some with quite gruesome splatter..) than there are curse-words in the releases. So it 's okay to kill a minifig, as long as you do it with decent language?

Actually, for me, violence is. :P It always bothers me seeing blood and LEGO. Especially when done with playdoh. It really grosses me out. Even though it doesn't so much with live action.

@ Onion: Actually, over here, for me, at least, I've never heard anyone use that word in my entire life.
I've heard recordings of it in movies and such, I've seen it written or typed. But I've never actually heard someone say it. Ever.

But that's probably partially thanks to the fact that I hang around people who don't use bad words.
