I get inspired by my friends, to be honest. There always seems to be some messed up situation which I always have to help sort out. I have an unreleased brickfilm called "Bully".
Watching any of the ones that came out when I started brickfilming. Then I spend an hour animating only get angry and give up.
Ask my dad.
ZachMG, Keshen8 and PizzaMovies were some of my inspiration.
With me, it's a combo of things. Sometimes, it's the old cartoons on TV (Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera's stuff). But most of the time, it comes from a real life experience. It starts out as some situation that, when I think about it, would produce humorous results. For example, when I was on the bus one day, I saw there were phonebooks on the doorstep of most of the houses I past by, including abandoned ones. I thought, "What kind of nut would deliver phonebooks to every single house, and didn't even notice if some of those houses were abandoned?" Then I thought, "What would happen if my characters had to deal with someone like that?" That's when I thought of the Bricks episode: Phone-y Phantom (a long way off from even scripting that).
Movies and events in my life. Music is awesome when you are animating. 
I am inspired usually by different Lego sets I have bought, or designed. Though a lot of the time I am inspired by old cheesy B-movies.
Most of the time I just come up with an idea randomly, and then wonder, "why in the world was I thinking that?"
I listen to music soundtracks or visualize a picture in my head. The soundtrack for Tron: Legacy has brought about 5 film ideas to my head.
Oh yeah, you reminded me of my third inspiration, RealBrick. Music. Of course! Well, it's mostly instrumental. Listening to Kevin MacLeod's version of Danse Macbre made me think of an orchestra playing it and the events that would make it sound like that (think the Looney Tunes short: Baton Bunny, something like that).

I usually come up with my ideas when:
1. I'm mowing the lawn.
2. I'm in my bed trying to get to sleep.
3. I get a new LEGO set and come up with an idea.
And most of those things are spur-o-the-moment ideas that I don't script. I just finish a brickfilm and think of a new one and jump into it. I just visualize how I want it to begin, to end, and some of the stuff in between. Next, I visualize some of the shots, angles, moods, sets, actions, and just basically how I want it to look. Then I think of a few good lines that would go with some of the scenes and the rest which is about 25% I make up as I go along. I find it very hard to follow a script because I lose interest so I do it on the fly. It's worked out ok so far!
Ever since I saw my first brickfilm I allways wondered "How did they do that? I want to make somthing like that!" One day I looked up how to make one and as soon as I understood it I started to make one. The end result was a crappy silent windows movie maker film but my insporation was other films.
I usualy come up with my ideas in math class

Anyway, I usually start my ideas for movies after I build something or get something. I like to build really great original figures and models, after building it makes me think of an idea for a movie in which I could use my creation. I feel somewhat as though my creation is wasted if not used in a wonderful film. And when Imagining sets and other stuff I've not built yet, I try to imagine it with the pieces I already have so it'll be build-able.
I let my mind wander, and sometimes it stumbles upon a great idea!
EVERYTHING... I get ideas from every aspect of life in general, I do use music sometimes, actually quite a bit. But alot of the time the ideas just come from random stuff.
When it comes to inspiration for making a BETTER brickfilm, I take inspiration from the pros, it was Keshen8 who originally inspired me that Brickfilms could be REALLY cool to watch. 
What makes me inspired to get up and make the film, I really don't know, excitement I guess... 
seeing The Forces Unleashed by fancypants inspired me to start stop-motion
Sometimes I'll be listening to music, and think of an epic scene that would fit with the music, then create a story to fit that.
Probably just things in life.....
