As much as I want to enter this contest, I'm afraid I'm going to drop out. My entry isn't really working out for me. It probably wouldn't have a good chance of doing well anyway as it's probably going to turn out pretty bad because I haven't even started animating yet. I wish everyone else best of luck.

Oh no! All the famed and well known animators are dropping out.
That's a shame.
But I suppose it gives us not-so-well-known-and-not-so-good animators a better chance.. ![]()
Yeah. Personally, I'm dissmayed, as I looked forward to see how a friggin sammich could start a world war. But Buikes and RobBrick are still in, and I want to see their films.
Yeah I've got some great voice actors for The Kennedy Conspiracy!
EDIT: Any news about a trailer contest?

Yes.... One of those is me right?
But seriously, I am sad that JK is dropping out, last year he did his film in like two weeks or something. But at least we have some new-ish members who's entries seems to be looking pretty awesome. ![]()

This will be my first contest!

That's a sad you're not entering, Jonathan. I was really looking forward to see your entry...:( Well...I'm actually not entering too - I'll maybe enter the next year's BiM but I decided that I'll work more on some longer films. Hoy-a-hay!!
But at least we have some new-ish members who's entries seems to be looking pretty awesome.
Are we one of the newish members, by any chance
?
Anyways, we now have three scenes filmed and sequenced (Though one of the scenes' needs chroma keying). I'd say that our entry is looking quite well, after pre-production for five months
.
Are there allowed to be voices
Are there allowed to be voices
Yes. There are.
That's a sad you're not entering, Jonathan.
Uh, OBVIOUSLY YOU MEANT ME, NOT JK, RIGHT?
Anyway, yes, JP,I am talking about you, I can't wait to see the film.
As for me, I doubt I will be able to get it into TOY, but I'll do some really speedy audio editing and animating tonight.

Don't forget about Jargon's film, he is entering.
Mine is stupidly comedic.
But I'm not entering. It does seem that a lot are serious, but at least it'll most likely be more succesful than last year's competition. Although I does seem that a lot of people are going for recent history, like in the 1900's, instead of going really far back.

Well, I've scripted my film, but I'm not really sure what to do with it. It's so big and ambitious........it just wouldn't be right to make it with lego if you see what I mean. It's got so much to it I may as well make it plasticise, I've never really liked the idea of making a 20+ minute brickfilm........it just doesn't seem like the thing you make with a toy. It'd spoil it I think.
However, I have got another good idea, which isn't too ambitious. But I'm a bit worried about the plot line, I got the idea off a ride in Florida, but it may be a bit similar to someone else's work. I wouldn't actually copy them, it may just look a little similar.
I'll probably make a thread for it later, see what you guys think. I'm really looking forward to seeing all the other entries. ![]()
Mine looks like it's probably going to win.....................................last place. ![]()
