I have a Cannon Powershot A470 and I use it for stop motion, should I swich to a webcam or keep my current camera? Please reply.

I think Im going to show you some of the techlical crap about my camera.
Cannot steam, (It cant take pictures while plugged via usb.)
7.1 mega pixels,
3.4x optical zoom,
If you can understant some of it please reply.
If it's not capable of remote capturing than yes, I would definitely get rid of it.
Ok now I need some money.
You should sell your Cannon and use the money from that to buy a webcam.
