Re: Drawings and other Art
I got it, I was just joking. Neither my friends get my sense of humor at times.

I did a drawing in school the other day that started in Spanish. I might colour it in in Gimp later but I might not seeing as it's basically a rip off of RealBrick's drawings of randomness. ![]()

I did something earlier this week with a mechanical pencil. Unfortunately, the image is hard to see because of that. It is supposed to use the Left brain right brain theory, but I was being dense and switched the sides by mistake. Oh well.
I would use the mirror tool in GIMP. Then it would fit the theory.
I would, but I kind of feel like then it isn't my drawing anymore.
just thought i would post a link to my webcomic

Hmm, well you did draw it. And all it is, is flipping it. it's like turn your drawing over and tracing it on the other side only easier. And you color you tablet sketches in GIMP anyways so I don't think think this is wrong. I understand the mentality you have. It's up to you. ![]()

An early 8th grade graduation gift.
I just recorded a quick video of my inking and colouring process in Photoshop. Enjoy.

I have a problem. Ever since I was little I have always held my pencil in the "wrong" way. I would clench it with all my fingers and write and draw like that. Much to the avail of my second-grade teacher, I still do this. Now, I love to draw, and I am looking to improve in my art. Do you think it would be necessary to learn how to hold the pencil in the correct way?

NO.
No, it'll be fine how it is. Trust me.
You should draw however you feel most comfortable drwaing. In the case of art, other people's opinions don't matter until the piece is on a canvas on display.

-snip-
I made this on school today.
That looks like The Cheat, only red.
Ok, so I am getting different opinions here.
