Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

I wouldn't think so, because post-apocalyptic is in a futuristic setting, and it would probably be disqualified.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

If you want to enter the contest, then yes. You have to make a brickfilm of a historical event.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

And by the way if you enter, does your video needs to be unlisted? Because i really wanna show my video to my subscribers on YT

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

You can only show them once the deadline has past. Up until then, no one - except yourself and those involved in running the contest - is allowed to see your movie.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

Are you two actually reading the rules on the first page, DutchBrick and Edmeier Animation? I don't mean to be rude, but your questions have all been clearly addressed in the very first post of this thread.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

mini/tongue Duh, I read the rules. I'm just checking to make sure, because people are saying stuff about historical fiction. That's not fiction.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

Would greek mythology be counted as a historical event, or just a myth?

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

You're allowed a fictional story that's rooted in history. I'm pretty sure a myth matches that definition exactly.

Is it ok if we put a silly random thing in the background?

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

There is no rule that says otherwise.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY [CLOSED]

Drat, I am not going to have enough time to enter mine in the contest. I had an idea, but it evolved into something much bigger and more ambitious. I've barely started the script, and here I am planning a twenty minute brickfilm! I'm for sure gonna make it, but it just won't be done in thyme for the contest. mini/sad
