Inception

That was interesting. My mom left the room 5 minutes into the first layer and didn't understand the next 25 minutes until
I explained it all to her. It was action packed, I grant you that. Pretty cool, it deserved the Oscar.

The Pixar Story]
A documentary on Pixar. If you are a Pixar fan, then you have to see this movie.
The Other Guys
Pretty funny, I liked it.

Pink Floyd The Wall

Saw f it in school today(my music teacher is a big Pink Floyd fan)
Though it is really strange, both the cinematography, acting and soundtrack (tihi) is great. I was one out of the two people who liked this film. Had a huge argument afterwards about if it was good or not mini/XD

Puss in Boots
With Christopher Walken.

It was a family movie. I liked it! A lot of twists and turns that you don't expect, which, in my opinion, makes a great movie. mini/bigsmile

Ghost Town
It was a nice little film.
I liked it because, even though it was a love story, there wasn't a single kissing scene in the entire thing!

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Well, actually there was one. But yes, I really liked it too.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

My girlfriend and I went to the midnight premiere of Thor.  It didn't disappoint (but I never read the comics, so I had nothing to base anything off of)

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Thor
Meh.

Well it was entertaining, but the story was fairly weak, it was rushed, and I couldn't help but feel they only made this film so that they could add Thor to the Avengers movie without having to worry about a back story.

The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen

I LIKE this film!! Screw you, popular opinion! mini/tongue

I love that movie too!

Did you realize that the American shooter guy was Tom Sawyer?  I didn't the first time I watched and learned after and it spun me for a loop.

Yeah; I feel like that's the only reason both this and 'Captain America' is being made. 'The Avengers' had BETTER be awesome...

Yes, a good film, if a little predictable.

Café Lumière

Hou Hsiao-Hsien's tribute to Ozu; definitely very understated, but with a rich undercurrent of themes going on.

Blade Runner

I had never seen this before. A little too violent at times, but quite good.

The director's cut.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I have tried to enjoy Blade Runner for three times before, but it never did it for me for some reason. It's been two years now, though, I might rent it this weekend.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Rent it, it's really something special.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Push

What a boring movie. Frankly, I'm sick of the plot where people and/or the government treat supers like freaks, and the supers fight back, especially when the only distinction I get between the good guys and the bad guys is "they do mean things to us, and they have guns." The good guys in most of these films use their powers to gain an advantage over people (the most common one seems to be getting loads of cash, it seems), wave guns around (most characters in this film seemed to have a gun on them at one point or another), or act totally impolite. Exactly the type of people you'd want to watch your kids, eh?

But yeah, apart from that bit about morals, the characters just weren't interesting; I had no clue why Chris Evans and that other girl loved each other so much, or used to, anyway, because we don't know anything about them. Nick's (Chris Evan) memory in the beginning didn't really do much for me, except set up the whole flower thing. As for Cassie, Dakota Fanning wasn't really convincing. Either she just wasn't the right pick for the role, or she really should stick to doing voice acting (Coraline and My Neighbor Totoro were both GREAT films). That said, none of the other actors screamed "OSCAR NOMINATION" either.

So yeah. I'll give it one star or something. The premise was promising, but was a complete letdown.
