This is mY rough draft on a new film that I am working on, please tell me what oyu honestly think, and suggest.

Cabin 48

SCENE 1
Ext. Backyard, outside. Night time

A male, and a female are seen around a camp fire talking with one another, they appear to be at a cabin camp site.

Boy
I’m glad you came out here

Girl
I am too, you know, I have had this crush on you for a while

Boy
(excited voice)
Really? I have had mine on you since 8th grade

Girl
What took you so long to ask me out?

Boy
Well, you see I-(rustling in the bushes is heard, the two stop and look around)

Boy
Did you hear that?

Girl
Yea I did, probably just a squirrel or something

Boy
Yea they are common around here

(eerie music is faded in now)

Girl
Anyways, please continue..

Boy
Okay, so like I was saying whe-( rustling is heard again but this time its louder)

Boy
Okay this is getting ridiculous

Girl
yea wanna just go inside?

Boy
I wanna know what that noise is

(the boy gets up from his seat, he walks over to investigate)

Girl
be careful!

Boy
Don't worry, I took karate in 9th grade,

Girl
(still frightened)
okay...(whispering to herself) please be careful

the boy approaches the source of the sound, as he reaches his hands down to move the brushes to find out what is there, a stray cat jumps out from behind there startling the boy

Boy
(Laughing to himself, he turns around talking to the girl)
Hey it was just a cat...
(as he turned to see the girl still sitting there, a figure in a white mask is standing behind her)

Girl
what...What was it?..Hey...What is it?

Boy
(the boy just stand there in horror..he then yells out to her)
Watch out behind you!

Girl
What? (she begins to turn around, as the figure slams a pick ax into her skull)

Boy
OH MY GOD!!

The killer digs the ax down a bit, pulling it out of her skull, the girl falls over dead, the boy turns around to run as he does the killer launches the Ax at him, landing it in the back of the boys neck.

When the ax hits the boy in the neck, blood splatters up as the screen goes black, and the blood spells out the title “Cabin 48”

SCENE 2

Int. Cabin. Daytime

The cabin door is seen being opened up, as a group of college kids are walking in with bags. The kids walk in one after another, looking around the place

Dustin
Well, we're here, check it out

Dizzy
Hmm looks cozy

James
Looks boring

Alex
Do you always shave to be so negative James?

James
I am just saying, why couldn’t we have gone to the beach for spring break?

Dustin
because my friend, this is where all the action is going down this year

James
You don’t even know for sure

Dustin
Oh but I have my sources,

James
(sighing at the statement) what ever

Dizzy
Even if there is no action, we still got this pretty sweet cabin

Alex
Sweet? Are you even forgetting which cabin this is?

Dizzy
Cabin 48 is what it said outside the door

James
Exactly..cabin 48, you twit

Dizzy
What is that suppose to mean to me

Dustin
nothing, guys chill out, lets just get unpacked
the group kind of disperses, dizzy is left standing there,

Dizzy
No seriously what does that mean?

Alex is seen outside, as she is wandering around

Alex
(Alex is walking around the back yard of the cabin looking around, the sound of birds is heard and other ambient noises, she notices the cellar doors, and walks over to them trying to pull them open but they are jammed)

-camera cut-

The boys are all seen in the living room of the cabin talking about their plans

Dustin
Guys this spring break is going to be so sick, you don’t even know

James
yea..you have been saying the whole way up here, and so far all that I have seen are a bunch of trees and two racoons going at it..not much worth seeing here

Dizzy
awh James don’t be such a buzzkill

Dustin
Yea seriously, why did you even come if you knew you weren't going to like it

James
Because, YOU told me..there would be girls, drinks, and parties

Dustin
We just got here, Im sure everybody won't start showing up until tomorrow

Dizzy
Hey, what were you and Alex talking about earlier James? About this being Cabin 48

James
haha the twit really doesn’t know does he?

Dizzy
Know what??

Dustin
James..stop..come on you know how he gets

James
I think we should tell him, might even make this trip more interesting

Dizzy
Come just tell me already

James
You remember a while back when the two students from campus went missing after taking a short weekend trip?

Dizzy
...Oh yea I do remember hearing about that, and?

James
Well they were found slaughtered, I mean brutally too, sickest things you can imagine and this guys did 10 times worse...

Dizzy
..Okay..what does that have to do with....wait.....Oh my god, this is where it happened is it???

James
(James is seen staring blankly at dizzy)

Dizzy
OH MY GOD IT IS!! DUSTIN YOU KNEW!! AND YOU DIDNT TELL ME
WHAT THE HELL MAN!?

Dustin
Its nothing Dizzy, I know how you get, look two kids were up here late at night and some psycho happened to pass through so what? It was just a coincidence...

Dizzy
..Passing through? They didn't catch him??

James
(saying this ins a fully pronounced way,popping the P sound at the end) Nope

Dizzy
Oh my god, what the hell..take me home Dustin

Dustin
Calm down dizzy, we will be fine, what person would murder and stay at the scene of the crime huh?

A loud thud is heard, catching the attention of the boys

Dustin
What was that?

James
Where's Alex?

Dizzy
This isn't happening..this isn't happening

the boys rush outside, calling out for her name

Dustin
Alex!

James
Alex where are you?

Dizzy
Alex!!

(eerie music sets in at this point)

Dustin
Come on guys she couldn't have gone far

James
Look...(James points to the cellar doors

The boys approach the doors, Dustin begins to reach his hand out to it, he slowly moves towards it and right as he is about to grab the handle a voice is heard, startling them all

Alex
Don't bother,

The boys jump in fear

Alex
whats wrong with you guys?

Dustin
Oh man Alex, we thought you maybe got lost of something?

Alex
What? No I just went looking around the area

James
You need to stick with us

Alex
for what why are you guys acting so weird

Dustin
it's nothing, come on its getting late lets just go on inside, its getting dark.

-camera cut-

SCENE 3

Int. Inside the cabin night time

The group is seen talking to one another, as the camera eases into the cabin.

Dustin
Okay guys, so tomorrow we need to drive up to Crystal peak

Dizzy
How do you know?

Dustin
Because that’s what my last text message said.

James
I don't even have reception up here..

Dizzy
None of us do, he got the text message before we left yesterday

James
how do you know the plans haven't changed?

Alex
Yea Dustin, Don't you think it was stupid coming up here this early?

Dustin
Guys if we would have waited we wouldn't have gotten a cabin in time and been stuck sleeping in the car, did you really want that? And they never change the plans this is the way it has always been.

Dizzy
For your sake I hope you're right, Im going to go get something to drink

Dizzy gets up to go get something to drink, he walks into the kitchen, to see a white face standing there in the kitchen window

Dizzy
AHH!

Dustin comes running in the room

Dustin
Dizzy whats the matter???

Dizzy
There was something out there dude!, it was starring at me! I swear!!

Dustin
Dizzy..Look at me, there is nothing here, you are just scaring yourself, calm done okay?

Dizzy
No dude I know I seen something out there I know I did!

Alex and James then enter the room

Alex
Whats wrong with him?

Dustin
He thinks he seen something out side starring in the window...

James
haha no way?

Alex
Oh my god, you guys didn’t???

James just looks at Alex

Alex
You told him? There is nothing to worry about diz, and I will prove it

Alex then heads towards the door and goes for the handle

Dizzy
No Alex please don’t go out there, just lock the door

Alex
Dizzy there is nothing out here, watch

Alex steps out side and walks out just a little, she looks around, then turns to look at the door way, the camera view switches from out side to the cabin looking towards her.

Alex
What'd I tell ya? Nothing out--(Alex is snatched away in an instant gone from view, with very faint muffled screaming)

Dizzy
(dizzy rushes over to the shutting it and locking it, after backing up form it, Alex's dead body is flung crashing through the window, covered in blood, then her body is slowly drug back out.)

(the boys gasp and yell in horror0

James
We gotta get the hell out of here, now!

Dustin
Uuh okay, do you guys need o grab anything

James and Dizzy
No

Dustin
Alright come on lets just go!

The group runs for the door

James
(James is running outside and suddenly has his head smashed against the wall, he bounces back from it, but then the killer rams his pick ax down the top of James skull, the wall catches a stream of blood as it impacts his head.)

Dustin
Come on we have to keep going!

Dizzy
(Dizzy is growing heavy in breaths, and is getting very tired)
I..cant..I cant keep going (breathing heavily)

Dustin slumps himself against the wall, the killer comes walking around the corner (the camera angle appears to be looking up to the killer as he comes running towards dizzy with his pick ax above his head, then when the killer slams it down, blood splatters along his face, the killer continues to send the ax into Dizzy's body as more blood paints his face.

Dustin
(Dustin also starting to get tired, runs and hides under neath of the porch)

The killer comes walking looking for the way Dustin went, Dustin's breathing is heavy and in a whisper, we see the killer feet disappear off screen, just when it seems safe the hand suddenly reach under there grabbing him from out of there, Dustin is slammed against the wall knocking him out (the screen goes black)

SCENE 4
INT. Killer shed. Nighttime

The camera fades into focus, then flips upside down to reveal that Dustin is hanging upside down on a torture like rack. The camera cuts over to the killer where we see his feet, then his hand messing with various tools

The killer then removes his mask, revealing his disfigured face.

Dustin
(still a bit groggy, he begins to look around the room)
-coughing a little- let..let me go you son of a !@#$%..LET ME GO!

The killer walks over to Dustin with his mask off, and a knife in his hand

Dustin
Please..let me go..Why are you doing this?

The killer leans in just a little bit to Dustin and then rams his knife into the lower part of his torso dragging it completely down his body (The camera angle cuts to the floor, where we see all the blood pooling)

Dustin
( screaming in agony )

The killer slowly drags the knife down further, and Dustin’s screams stop.

The killer is then seen walking along a hall way, where he comes to the end and begins to climb a ladder

-camera cut-

The cellar doors form the cabin open up and the killer is seen exiting them
