Go to a tech support forum? I hear tech support forums are particularly good at tech support.
I have more chance getting a response here. Whatever.
Mr. Brick7 knows quite a bit about computers and said the following: If it makes a high-pitched sound, it could be... 1. Your hard disk is starting to fail, in which case you need to get a new one right away if you don't want to lose all your data. This is a VERY high pitched sound like metal scraping on metal! OR 2. There could be a CD in the CD ROM drive which is making noise as it starts up and is being read. If there is a CD in, try taking it out and see if your computer still makes the noise when you turn it on. OR 3. It could be that one of the cooling fans in the computer is starting to fail. This can make several different weird sounds if it is happening. Depending on your type of computer (not a laptop), you could open the case and try to locate the source of the sound, as well.
Hope that helps. ![]()

I'm not sure why there's such a negative attitude towards the AV referendum in the UK (at least it seems like the majority of the media outlets in the UK are promoting a 'vote no' campaign from where I am), Preferential voting makes so much more then the much simpler and very archaic first past the post system. All the arguments against preferential voting/AV seem to be "the lib-dems would gain more power, and that would be bad", and that's an extraodinarily ignorant approach for a nation that has a lot of pride in it's democratic system. If you're looking to reform the system of voting, you should be looking at how fair it is for the voters.
My computer sometimes makes a sound sort of resembling a horse when I have CDs in. And a squeaky sound sometimes too. I think that is the fans.
Thanks, Brick7! There was a CD in, so I hope it's not number one ![]()
Well, today at a school assembly I was called up (against my will) and forced to play dead. It was OK until I hit the floor and figured out that they had just waxed it. I slid across for a few feet off the stage. Not that fun. Especially since I didn't want to do it in the first place.
HAHAHAHA.
Eddie, I feel sorry for you, but it would've been so funny for the other people...

Tonight I have to attend to a local film festival. I made a brickfilm called "The Rescue" and I think it's really good. Wish me tons of luck please! (I need luck because I could win (easily))
Good luck last week at my school's fine arts festival I got best in show and the "overall peoples choice award".
Did you have to act out getting shot?
I'd like to see a video of that!
Nope. I had to be a sick person and fall down. My friend had to be a possessed guy. ![]()
2 posts in one:
I'm back! I've been in Florida for Thursday to Monday. I was going to see the shuttle launch, but they postponed it. I saw Kennedy Space Center, Sea World, and Universal, though. I've had a lot of catching up to do on here. The main downside of the trip was those annoying lovebugs (I'm not going to tell you what they are, go Google them or something).
NathanWells posted a new video... and it's mindcraft. So that's what he's been doing this whole time. Mindcraft is taking brickfilmers and turning them into people who stare at screens all day playing video games!
So that's what he's been doing all this time! And he blames it on college. I should have known, because with college, you actually have MORE free time. That's because you don't have 9 classes a day. You can arrange to have only 1 class a day. I know I'm still going to animate when I'm in college. I don't play video games or computer games or the like, I spend most of my time animating or going on the computer (mostly on here).

I think most of the people who are against AV are conservatives and old people who just want to keep things how they are and have been for 500 years or so. Times have changed since the days of the Whigs and Tories and I reckon it's time we changed to a voting system that gives people a fairer choice. Having one choice out of more than 2 candidates just doesn't work and leaves people needing to strategically vote in the hope they are left with the lesser of two evils, rather than being able to vote for the guy they actually want. And I agree that the counter arguments like the chance of the libdems or BNP gaining more power is stupid, it misses the point of democracy completely.
Oh yeah, I just remembered another thing I was going to say. I don't have to use the edit button because I'm not double posting. I asked for some help with a Lego Digital Designer issue in the LDD thread, but nobody replied. So I'll ask it again: Whenever I scroll in the pallate, the program closes on me. Can anyone help?
For me, the program won't even start. I've reinstalled it and everything.
