Re: Café Corner

Haha, not specifically. I'm really not joking when I say there have been a ton of requests like this lately. There's nothing wrong with it every now and then; I just wanted to encourage everyone to make sure they aren't using it as a crutch to avoid putting thought into threads.

Unfortunately the Americans didn't want to break Islamic tradition, that states a person should be buried within 24 hours, and they also did not want Osama's grave to be some sort of shrine, so they buried him in the ocean, where he could not be accessed.

Wait, they didn't want to break Islamic tradition, yet they blew half his face off without thinking twice. I'm sure he could have had valuable information too, it wouldn't have hurt any to conk him on the head and bring him to trial. It's not like he was dangerous at that moment in the compound, they reported he was unarmed. I dare not say anymore for fear of dragging this out and making a mess. But please ponder my words.

The computers, hard drives and much more data had a ton of important info, but I might agree with you however. But being a US Navy Seal in a blazing firefight, is probably a lot stressful and hard to think through than it sounds. So in the heat of the battle, they may have accidentally done so.

On a side note, if you clicked on the facebook spam on Pictures of Osama.....

Not according to the L.A. Times.

Officials said that when the commandos found him there, he was armed and "resisted." They shot him in the head and chest.

Also, I think it'd kind of silly to say that they blew his face off without thinking twice. These were highly elite soldiers, who'd been preparing for this operation since August last year, going so far as to build a replica of the compound used by Obama. I doubt that the decision to kill the US Public Enemy #1 was taken so lightly.
Just sayin'. mini/wink

He was unarmed according to the telegraph
The evidence suggests that too, (if he was armed he'd have to be a terrible shot to miss all 25 seals) and if he had a gun they could have just ducked until he ran out of rounds.

Re: Café Corner

Considering it wouldn't have been easy to change the course of action right in the middle of an operation, I think just making sure he died was more than enough.

The situation with Pakistan is a little tricky as well, good luck with figuring that one out.

Exactly! A spitting image of Justin Beiber, I'd say.

My computer always makes this weird noises when I turn it on. Somewhat similar to that of a horse. Does anyone know what might be the cause of this?

Is there a horse connected to your computer by wires?

Re: Café Corner

Try cleaning it. I heard of a guy who found a mouse in his computer...horses aren't that much bigger.

Cool signatures have no pictures.

Try working with your sound settings. Or replace the horse with another animal whose sounds are pleasing to you. mini/wink

Go to a tech support forum? I hear tech support forums are particularly good at tech support.

Actually, from my experience you either get no response, or get a response from an a$$hole. But, I suppose its worth a try...
