Mindcraft is taking brickfilmers and turning them into people who stare at screens all day playing video games!

For one, it's Minecraft, and two, we already stare at screens all day. We're animators.

Re: Café Corner

Well sigged.

I just watched David Pagano's Space Police series. Man, those are great!

Re: Café Corner

Minecraft doesn't really take us away from brickfilming, but if it does, who is there to blame? Its an amazing game, probably one of the best ever made but I don't think one person is going to completely stop brickfilming just because of Minecraft.

I'm going for it. I wont post it to the 'Releases', and should I smell a single whiff of backlash then I will remove it instantly....

EDIT: And here it is...

Now all we need to do is get this to CNN. mini/delirium

Re: Café Corner

Wow, I'm behind on BiM. Blame Xbox LIVE and Minecraft for that, both of which are awesome.

The 9/11 memorial is apparently a target for Al Qaeda, in reference to Osama's death. Anyone else been hearing the terrible jokes about him? I'm not even going to post any here. They're dreadful.

I don't make Brickfilms. I trade virtual hats.

Re: Café Corner

People celebrating his death I found quite disturbing.

I agree. As horrible a person as he was, I still don't see it as a celebratory thing.

Me too. It also it seems suspicious that the government threw Osama bin Laden's body into the ocean with such haste. It's almost as if they didn't want to be able to be held responsible if they were lying to us. They also said they had DNA evidence and photographs, but how do we know that the that evidence was from the body they threw into the ocean? Plus, the reason they threw his body into the ocean was to keep some Muslim tradition, but why would they care about his Muslim faith?!?! They've been hunting him down for 10 years! It just seems kind of suspicious to me, and somebody being killed is not something to rejoice about.

Did any of you here that there was a man that wanted to not shave his beard until he was killed?  And he kept his word!  Just Google it and you can find the story.

Re: Café Corner

@Mighty Wanderer

Unfortunately the Americans didn't want to break Islamic tradition, that states a person should be buried within 24 hours, and they also did not want Osama's grave to be some sort of shrine, so they buried him in the ocean, where he could not be accessed.

I wish people weren't terrorists. It kills a lot of innocent people and causes us americans to be racist and xenophobic (yes it's a word) mini/tongue

Re: Café Corner

On a brighter note, I went on a school trip today.

I hate to sound ungrateful but it was kinda pointless. I mean, we had a sheet we needed to fill out so we rushed through the museum to find everything and we didn't have time to enjoy the stuff there. And it was a 2 hour bus trip both ways. I wished we had more time to look around. But at least I wasn't in Algebra class......

PLEA FROM A MODERATOR

If everyone would make sure to consider whether they really want to make a topic before they do so, rather than deciding to ask the moderators to delete it five minutes later, it would be greatly appreciated. I understand that stuff happens, but we've been getting a lot of these requests recently. Most of the time they could be dealt with beforehand by putting a little extra thought into what is being posted.
