Topic: Blue snowball microphones are they worth the cost?

Right now I am using a rockbound microphone is the blue snowball better, if so how much?

All help is appreciated!

Re: Blue snowball microphones are they worth the cost?

I also use the rockband/guitar hero mic. It's really good and i suggest u stick with it unless you feel that your is terrible and you absolutely NEED a better one.

C910 is awesome. Gonna try to post an animation EVERY WEEK! SUNDAY or MONDAY!

Thanks But has anyone else used a blue snowball microphone?

Re: Blue snowball microphones are they worth the cost?

Well, actually, I do use a blue snowball microphone, and i am very happy with it. If you think that you are having any loss of sound quality or problems as a result of your microphone, then i would recommend you get it; it is worth the price.  However, if you find nothing wrong with your mic, then don't buy it unless your life is on the line. I use a Blue Yeti http://www.bluemic.com/yeti/ and it is totally worth the money. The audio it records is spectacular. I like the Yeti better than the Snowball because it is better at directional sound it is worth the extra $50.

Thanks for the help but I am still not sure could you link me to some examples or a video with the two?

I use it. GREAT Mic. But if your happy with yours I wouldn't upgrade. Here is a video using the Blue Snowball by Smeagol: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djA4qJgifzc

Well, buikes, judging from the lines that you did for me in " A Planet in Peril," the audio quality seemed fine to me. I don't think you need to upgrade.
