Well, considering that it is a BiM sponsored contest, I would think it is acceptable and probably encouraged.

I have an idea and I'm meaning to enter but I still haven't written the script. 
I am very intent on at least getting into the top 10 or a few spots below that but first would be nice too. 
LWGOMAN, three things:
1. If you're looking for contest details, look at the first post. It explains everything to do with the contest.
2. Please stay on-topic. If you have something to say that doesn't really fit in with any thread you can find, try posting it in the Cafe Corner, which is made for such discussion.
3. Try not to double-post. If you've posted something, and find that you need to add something to it, just click on the 'Edit' button at the end of every post you make.

I don't think I will be able to finish mine. I have other projects that I really need to finish (or start). If I have time, I might be able to finish.
How could i have the right to make competitions
Sometimes, common forum members make their own competitions.
But it rarely, rarely, works as we already have 2 contests going now would not be the time.
but i dont have the rights to make a topic in the contests board:(
