Exactly.

Re: Café Corner

MY OPINION: The Royal Family does nothing whatsoever for us, so I dont get why we could care. I've NEVER cared about the Royal Family because they haven't done anything for the country since Charles The First got his head chopped off in the Civil War. I dont hate them, I just dont really care. I'm happy for Will and Kate - who seem to have genuine feelings for each-over, but its really just like any other wedding only with a larger budget and 'Avatar' level hype.

END OF OPINION. END OF TOPIC.

MAX BUTCHER HAS SPOKEN.

Anywho, I feel like animating a short fight scene of some kind to practice animating..

Would you rather see a sword fight, gun fight, or fight with superpowers?

Re: Café Corner

Superpowers. They pwn.

Re: Café Corner

I'd like to see a fight with only rocks.

Re: Café Corner

Superpowers. It's not common and therefore give you a more difficult challenge. If you could pull it off, you'd rake in the views and subs. mini/bigsmile

Don't really care, although the fact that the royal family overruled the ABC's decision to air The Chaser's Royal Wedding Commentary is annoying.

Give it another 50 years and we'll be a Republic at long last.

Eh, a couple thousand years of tradition doesn't just go away. You're a constitutional monarchy, which is functionally about as good as a republic. You have a lot of history, which, as a bonus, makes for a great tourist atrraction.

Australia's history, whilst interesting, becomes extremely dull very quickly. Studying the social history and political history of North America is fascinating, while Australia's is extremely plain in comparison. Don't get me wrong though, the political history of Australia is one of my favourite subjects and I take great pride in my country, and it's also why I support the move to become a republic. Our system of government is hugely influenced by the American system. It is largely based on the Westminster bicameral system, though what differences there are, they are clearly drawn from the US.

And I heard that Tony Blair wasn't given an invite to the wedding, and I've gotta say, that's pretty pitiful. The Royal Family is obviously conservative, but you would hope they wouldn't bring their political position into something like this. They invite Will's hairdresser, but they don't invite Blair?

A fight with nothing but hotdogs and bunnies.

Or rocks. Rocks are good.

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re: Café Corner

Sword fights are cool. But make it really cheesy, like the 3 musketeers.

Off topic, does anyone know where I could get some time-lapse footage of an iceberg melting for free? mini/smile

Re: Café Corner

I have an urge to comment on a comment commented upon my comment but I shall resist.

You don't see too many superpower fights, it would be nice to see one done with bricks.

If you got some trees and made your own raft, sailed to the artic with your computing and filming device, recorded the icebergs till they melt and edit accordingly then you would get melty icebergs for free. Otherwise, something tells me you won't find one without paying.

Re: Café Corner

Curses, Max Butcher has spoken. That means I've missed my opportunity to comment on the Royal Wedding...

Spoiler (click to read)

I think it is important, as they're the future King and Queen. also, the wedding really united Britain as a whole, as well as getting lots of attention worldwide.

I don't make Brickfilms. I trade virtual hats.

Re: Café Corner

I don't know if I told anyone but I just made a Flickr account today because I think I'll start getting into art.

Superpowers - although you could always do an epic fight compiling all of them, since they are all rather awesome....

Re: Café Corner

I have a question, does anyone know how to make it so that my video does not have the black bars on the end after exporting from WMM? I think it's because the size of the video is too small, but I'm not sure. If so, how can I resize it?

Re: Café Corner

I believe this'll cover it.

For gawd's sake man, quit shoehorning your hatred of Avatar into every thread. It's annoying as hell.

I second KG on this. You can't even get past one movie that came out quite a while ago? Don't drag up old discussions on how Avatar sucked, it does get a bit annoying.
