I don't get why all you guys are complaining so much. Yeah, they poured loads of money into it, but you guys are acting like it's a Hitler and lady-Hitler getting married. They're in love for Christ's sake. The Monarchy is a part of British culture.

Maybe I wouldnt mind if it wasnt shoved down my throat. I am from the US for God's sake.

Would you like to step in and set it straight Hazzat?

Prince Charles is next in line to the throne (and he'll be glad when that happens - he's been the longest reigning heir to the throne). Then it's William and then Harry.

Re: Café Corner

Ah. Good to know. So when I marry Harry, I'll won't be next in line to be queen?! WHAT?! Ha ha! Only jokin.... Everyone has their famous crushes! I have like 20! Prince Harry and Bruno Mars being two of them. But not Justin Bieber. No, just noooo.... mini/lol By the way, how do you feel about the Royal Wedding? Did you watch it all? I watched most of it. Her dress was FAB! (And there I go again on a girly spree. lolz)

Re: Café Corner

Slight Correction Hazzat, if William has children they would be heir to the throne.

It's interesting how a bunch of adolescents who make films based on plastic figures are having a somewhat heated debate about British Royalty. mini/XD

Re: Café Corner

I'm an Irish-American so I don't really care.

Yesterday, I tried to explain to my friend about how I felt on acting. He was giving me grief so I just said, "I'm the nerd on computer putting voices into plastic men who I make act for me." And of course that didn't help.

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re: Café Corner

I was born in England so people ask me if I got up at 4 in the morning to watch it.  And I kindly said, no.

Re: Café Corner

Personally, I find it all vanity to make a big fuss over it. It's just two people getting married. Now, I don't have against marriage, I think marriage is a wonderful show of affection between two people. I am happy for the couple, and I hope they will be happy together. But in the end, even though they are so-called "celebrities", they are still just human beings. Like me, and like you. It really is just as much a fuss as any other marriage. It really is not a big deal as people make it to be. The two people love each other, and that's that.

Btw, all of this is IMO. I mean no offense to people who are obsessed with celebs and their lives.

Re: Café Corner

Hmm, yes, but this is the first time Royality has been able to marry some randomer, who they ACTUALLY love, before it was just "Okay sonny when you grow up you're gonna marry the Duke of Norway! How does that sound?" thus being the first real romance in royality.

They are celebrities but then so is Barack Obama. In the end the monarch has control over the entire country. If the Prime Minister suddenly decided on having a dictatorship then the Queen would stop it happening. When a royal marries you are looking at the new King and Queen who will create future Kings or Queens so it is a much bigger deal than any other celebrity being married.

That wasn't trying to be offencive or be offended, that was just explaining why people make a big deal of it.

Well, then again, he does seem to spend a significant amount of time arranging public appearances through Washington DC and Talk shows.

It's Saturday (4/30/2011). 1698 years ago Emperor Licinius defeated Maximinus II and unified the Eastern Roman Empire. Here in Frankfurt the sky is clouded and we have 22 °C. Looks like it will rain today.
