Can someone help me?
I am using a Rock Band USB microphone with Audacity and whenever I try to record something a window pops up and says: Error while opening sound device. Please check the impute device settings and the project sample rate.]
PLEASE HELP!!!

Well, it doesn't seem that this is a problem with Audacity, but your USB Microphone. Check all your settings
and see what the problem is...
Where do I check my settings?
(might be a dumb question)
Well, If on Windows XP (Maybe Vista/7) Go into Start,Settings,Control Panel,Sounds and Audio Devices.
That might help...
Edit - Damn, You're on a Mac. Well maybe just use GarageBand? Sorry, I'm useless on Macs

It works on Garage Band but I want it on Audacity.
Okay. Record on GarageBand > Export > Import to Audacity > Highlight Audio > Effect > Amplify > Effect > High Pass Filter > Cutoff Frequency to 73 > Export as .WAV That's what I would do.
Might try that.
P.S. You need the Audacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode)
