Chris Hemsworth just got his head hammered.
Guys, what are your exact settings for your LW9P?
Zoom: WHY
Focus: ARE YOU
Brightness: ASKING ABOUT
Gain: CAMERA SETTINGS
Exposure: IN THIS
White Balance: THREAD?
That's what the software & hardware thread is for, right?
Well I find it kinda pointless to create a whole new topic for simple question that can simply be asked in this topic, mcoov. Eddie, what do you mean by LW9P? I've spaced out before and I'm a bit confused now.
A QC9P. I'm still encountering light flicker problems and I want to know if my settings are wrong?
I really need voice acting!

Oh, EddieHasccle, I have the QCP9. So it's weird. If you are using MonkeyJam, as I am, every time you open up the capture window, the QCP9 mini controller window opens up (I hope you know what I mean). You need to turn Off Auto-focus & Right Light. Then go to Advanced Settings and turn off light flicker reducer (I think that's what it's called) & ucheck the box next to Auto to the left of all the light setting bars. Then stand somewhere where you aren't casting any kind of shadow on the set. Also don't use flourescent lightbulbs. They also cause light flicker.
Hope this helps! ![]()

Threads asking about the QC9000 are a dime-a-dozen over in the S&H thread. Just resurrect an old one with the new question.
@Eddie: There is no "right" setting, as everyone's light settings, both external [daylight] and internal [lamps] are different. Just tamper with the settings until your flicker stops.
What kind of lamp should I get for animating?
IMPORTANT!!!
A bright one.
A swing-arm lamp with springs. Also known as a hobby lamp. They're really helpful. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go to http://davidmpickett.com . He uses them.

Well, I reccomend turning everything automatic OFF, the gain and focus and RightLight.

Thanks!
I might buy Portal 2 today.
Buy = trade a bunch of !@#$ Wii for a 50 dollar gift card.
I watched 'Blink' from Doctor Who and the first three episodes of Lost last night with a bunch of friends. I am now deathly afraid of statues, trees, and polar bears.

Dat gif. image so made me jump. ![]()
