Topic: Comparing the Logitech C910 and Logitech Pro 9000

Hello everyone. This is basically a thread to compare the two webcams mentioned in the title: The Logitech C910 and Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000. I currently have the Pro 9000 but am thinking of switching to the C910. Please tell me if i'm making a good decision or if I should stay with the Pro 9000. They both retail at the same price yet reviews tell me that the C910 may be better. I need opinions! Thanks!

C910 is awesome. Gonna try to post an animation EVERY WEEK! SUNDAY or MONDAY!

In my opinion, there is no need to switch to the C910. The 9000 is fine for brickfilming.

There is no definite need to switch to a C910 if you already have the 9000, I have the C910 and it is fantastic, but you can get quality equal or even better from the 9000 if you use it correctly with good lighting.

No not fully, you will not have full manual controls.

Do you happen to know what controls are missing on both of the webcams for the mac? Is it missing major things that you need, or just minor things?

(sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions, I'm thinking about buying one of these cameras)

the C910 has full HD and better sound quality according to the comparison

I would suggest going for the C910 if you have the money. However if money is a problem, the 9000 will, I am guessing work great as well.

I just ordered the C910. They were around the same price. I already have the Pro 9000 but am trying to improve quality

You are missing major things on the mac. You can not control the auto focus for either cameras.
