I'm sorry, but I don't remember the rule being so strict in the other thread. mini/blankexpression

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

That's just amazing. I don't think that you need telling it, but I'll say it again: NewRight, you're awesome.

Randomparrot: It's cool, but I would advise making the wall around the door bigger to expand the vignette.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

That's not a bad set, actually. I'd like to see it when it is finished.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

It's not bad, but looks empty. Add some people decor, like garbage etc...

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

@newright: this speaks for itself, awesome awesome, and awesome.

@kinzcove: that's actually pretty awesome, even not completed nice job!

@LMP: that's pretty good, as in colors, and as idroid said, it is a bit empty.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I'm trying to bring Nostalgia to my sets. Trying to give each set a 'Magic Portal' feel to it.

I was thinking this could be acheived by bringing in basic coulours like black, white, yellow, red, blue, and green.

A Basic Test:

Any other 'Nostalgia' ideas?

Pretty nice, I don't really know what to add. What about a duck?

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Sorry to double post, and to interrupt Max's feedback, but this thread has hardly been staying active. So here's a set I'm planning on using in my next film:
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq201/Nellysplash/Picture4847.jpg?t=1234804175
That blue thing is an arcade game. Yes, an arcade game in a bank. It's all part of the plot, you see.

The shots in the film will be a little similar to this one:

Feedback please. And feel free to drop in one more comment on Max's creation too.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Nice. I think the the bankers booth thing is a little too wide. The second shot looks good. Also, the game could look good as an ATM if you change the screen. That's what I thought it was at first mini/wink

The gamer there will be shaking around there when he plays the game, so if it was an ATM he would look wrong shaking about at an ATM. Is the booth really too wide? it's only 8 studs wide, and when I got to Northern Bank or Ulster bank the booth is always huge. Also, I got a suggestion about adding a dustbin, I'm thinking of doing that so it's less empty. Thanks anyway!

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

If you're looking to add stuff, put 'glass' on the booth window.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I don't mean using it as an ATM now, just in another film or something, it's good to have mini/smile
