Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

How can I convince my anti-M rated parents to convince us to play Battlefield Bad Company 2? PS, they don't know the Orange Box has M-rated material in it.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

Talk to them about how mature you are, and how you understand the violence is not real.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

Best way to do it. If you attempt to go about convincing them another way, and they find out you are bending the truth (lying), your maturity will be called into serious question and it's unlikely you'll get the game at all.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

Ask them if it's okay to play halo, it's just aliens, and there's no actual gore as in no one gets dismembered or blasted to pieces, then gradually you might be able to play more... human like experiences.

My friend who is fantastic at editing and halo created this montage and I think he deserves much more views and subs.

Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!

The more I see of LA Noire, the more cautious I am of it - it's almost impossible for it to live up to the kind of expectations it's created for itself. And I think Portal was delayed to May a while ago. Edit: Late April; the 19th in the US, and the 22nd everywhere else.

What does that even mean? It's a detective game with puzzles, featuring shooting, investigation, car chases, and other types of gameplay. It's got over 400 characters and has a 100 million dollar budget. Also, it's published by Rockstar Games (I know it's developed by Team Bondi, I'm sure Rockstar helped out). They literally never release a bad game, to be honest.

There's a first time for everything Tim. If you want my opinion, the graphics look more weird than realistic.
