Re: Libyan crisis

the original plan for it was to have him rambling on (In Arabic with subtitles) about how much his people love him and have Sniper laser sights on his chest with out him knowing (About 20) he continues talking about how the west is trying to turn his people against him...
and them he asks what the 'No fly zone' is, a bird is shot off screen and the feathers float down....

Re: Libyan crisis

Well... I think that skipping out the part about snipers changed a few peoples viewpoints since it would add a bit of humour to the film. Also where are you going to get the arabic part because I hate it when people say random stuff and pretend its arabic, I find it hurtful.

Re: Libyan crisis

I think this is in poor taste. I understand the idea of having some good humorous political criticism, but simply put, not everyone is Jon Stewart. There is no need to joke about a man who slaughters many people of his own kind. Hell, even 10 years later, a 9/11 joke film would be in terrible taste.

If you are looking to criticize the current events in the middle east, try Hosni Mubarak -- everything went well with him in the end, and at least he kept peace during his reign.
