And a very Happy one to you, Timothy. Speaking of which, it's my friend's birthday tomorrow, 1st of April, poor guy. Any pranks or Fool's jokes anyone could recommend to me? I'm not much of a pranker myself.
And a very well done, LegOpinions (or Onion, if you prefer). Good luck with the interview! What film won you the contest?
'Tis my birthday today.
Happy B-Day!
Anyways, if I were to buy a Mac what software works best? What do I need? And also will my QC9P work on it?
EDIT: Dangit! RealBrick, you tateltale! JK!
Sorry about that snipe earlier dude.

How about you make a list of active members on the site and list all of those people as your inspiration.
Anyway, good luck!
Happy Birthday Tim ![]()
Yeah, I'll certainly mention some influential filmmakers from here. The animation which I won it for was Mouse, which funnily enough didn't even get recommended by the BiM staff.
The other two were live-action films actually, which if you're interested I'll give a link to.
You should mention Daragh.
He doesn't seem to be around much lately, but it seems fitting for RTE.
That's a bad cough you've got there.
The Tylenol isn't working :'( .
In reference to the question, the best thing to do is probably enter competitions. Not just on here, you'll see quite a few brickfilmers on YouTube or elsewhere (thefourmonkeys, for example) regularly hold competitions for anyone to enter. It's a great way to get your work seen. Also: you could make a few videos about well-known subjects. This sounds like cheating, as people are going to find your videos quickly if you have the tags 'zombie halo lego brickfilm weapons fight' and so on, but it isn't really. It helps you establish a fan base, because after all, people will only subscribe if your videos are good. Having brickfilms with themes people often search for doesn't guarantee that they'll like what they find. So, it isn't cheating.
Well, it seems I've tried everything to endorse our channel. On our old Star Wars brickfilms, I put many simple tags on them, and added extra tags in the description for more refrence, yet it doesn't even show up on page 20. We also enter competitions (We just entered the fourmonkeys' walk cycle contest), but people don't usually watch them, even the members here on BiM. Now, we still obviously try to make good films, and we're improving, but it is just taking slower then I have ever thought it would (But that does not mean we will stop promoting our stuff...).

Does it really bother you that much? You are so annoyed/ticked off/displeased about an oversize sig that you offer to fix or make a new sig for him? Are you mad that he went over the sig limit? Why?
Whoa. Eddie, I just don't want him to get it removed. I made a signature for someone and it got taken down because the size was 403 by 101. And since he cancelled his film "The Ship That Stood Still", I wanted to help him on this film, since my audition for Lightholler wasn't going to be used.
Yeah dude sorry. I was kinda angry at someone when I posted that. I was pretty angry at everyone at my house actually. Sorry. ![]()
Woah, what a fuss about a too big sig! Oh, and thanks for the offer RealBrick, but I've made another ![]()
Happy birthday Timothy, and congratulations LegOpinions! Good for you!! ![]()
Im glad to see the forums are restored.
I'm so happy ![]()
WHat happened to all the topics we created? I think only a few select ones survived...
Yeah! I'm back! ![]()
Erm? Anyone know how to add brushes in photoshop?
yeah, hit "b" then right click to change the size, "feather-ness" and shape of the brush.
I think he mean how to add them to your selection, not change it. From a quick Google search, you apparently have to have the software open, then you hit "Load brushes" and click the file.
