Re: Café Corner

Went to Disneyland yesterday with a friend for like 15 hours.

Lots of fun. mini/bigsmile

Re: Café Corner

The two other trolls aren't surprising to me, but NXT? A moderator?

Re: Café Corner

NXT is a troll. You obviously haven't seen him in chat. It still surprises me he is a moderator. mini/tongue

Re: Café Corner

All the times I've seen him in chat, he has been quiet. Well, I never noticed Scypax in chat and he is apparently a troll, so yeah, I wouldn't know how NXT is in chat then.

Re: Café Corner

My new sig which links you to my new film!

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re: Café Corner

Does anyone know a good (free) screen capture software for Mac OSX?
(one that videotapes the screen, not just takes a picture)

Also, I have an interesting problem. I have a Mac OSX 10.5.8, and I downloaded GIMP. Sometimes it works, but whenever I open Finder it displays a message saying that Gimp quit unexpectedly, even though it wasn't even open in the first place! Then, when I try to open it, it says

What the heck is going on? Should I uninstall it and get seashell, or is there some setting I need to put it on?

Also, I was digging around in my closet and found a really old version of Photoshop. Photoshop 4.0. Is this any good for masking and such? Thanks!

Re: Café Corner

I would stick with GIMP for masking.

EDIT: Nevermind

My opinion on the caption matter is that NXT, Timothy R and KG have enough seniority to troll a little bit on the thread. I don't mind but apparently some of you do.

Re: Café Corner

I think the supposed explanation (see the thread) for their trolling is right. On a similar note, April Fools Day is this Friday. Beware of pranks, especially on this site. I looked on the first few pages of this thread and saw what happened last year. I noticed  this thread was posted on April Fools Day last year. Friday will be this thread's one-year birthday. Wow, over 7,000 posts in a year just on this thread.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

You're right... Sméagol is wise, BertL is wise, Jargon is wise, ect. But NXT is a bit crazy... I'm almost wiser than him. mini/tongue

(That's a joke)...

Don't worry, we'll be keeping any foolishness like that on lockdown. Some moderators just don't understand the need to maintain professionalism on the site. We're being extra careful to stop any rogues this year.

Re: Café Corner

This latest escapade just goes to show how a little bit of fun in the wrong hands can go incredibly wrong. We clearly cannot afford to have any such nonsense occurring this year.

Quicktime player can do screen capture, and it is free!

Obviously planning something BIG!!! mini/delirium

Re: Café Corner

I hope it involves the word filter again. The playmobile was stupid, but the big family who wanted a down payment on the leaky roof was hilarious!

I'm hoping everyone, 'cept the mod squad, will be banned for 3 hours on April 1st. Nah, too obvious.

Big post about his new interview on YT. If you want to read it, look above.

That's real cool. I subbed. mini/smile It's good that not only the people here get to listen to the interviews.

In other news, my grandparents church held a showing of the 30 minute long LEGO film, Jericho. It was really cool, and I got to talk to the family that made it about brickfilming. They even brought in the sets that they really used in the film. I bought the film on DVD for $12. It was really fun.

That Jericho film is quite awesome.  I'd recommend it to anyone.  It's funny, beautifully animated at 24fps, an entire 30 minutes, mouth animation, great retelling of the Bible story of Jericho.  Here's a link to their website if anyone is interested: http://shatterpointentertainment.com/

Chris, what do you think of the behind the scenes, deleted scenes, and blooper real (stopmotion animation blooper real?)?  I have a downloaded version of the film, but is the extra stuff that comes with the DVD worth purchasing?

Re: Café Corner

This whole "Trolling" thing was nowhere near as bad as everyone's saying it is. Calm down.
