Now my house has 3 new sofas, a new TV console and a new drawer. Nice... New... Comfy.... Sofaaaaaa..... ![]()
I just watched the Rebecca Black video... KILL ME NOW!
So do you want us to "kill you" tomorrow which is Sunday the day after Saturday and two days after Friday and three days before Wednesday... oh, which day should you pick...??
I just watched the cursed Ring tape.... I have seven days to make a slapstick. To the animating desk!
...slapstick...
Remember: anvils!
Ugh, Duke Nukem Forever is delayed, yet again.
Again??? What's the hold-up this time? I thought they were finally on track!
Ugh. I haven't gotten anything done lately. I really need to edit a film today and start on the set for my new film. I had all yesterday and I just hung around. ![]()

Awww. The sign of lazyness..
QUESTION:
In the Resources section of this site, under Mac Software, there is a link to something called CineFX.
I am wondering, what is this software and what does it do? Is it any good? I'm sorry, I didn't understand the site's description at all because it had a bunch of weird technical terms and stuff. So, is this software just an editor, or does it do Special effects? If so, what sort of special effects? Thanks ![]()
Time for a quick update -
Looks like I'm going on an animating hiatus for a few weeks, my old PC computer which I use to shoot on, has finally gone bust - I can no longer transfer the frames from it to the Mac without something going wrong. So looks like L.C.I is delayed, I won't be entering the Smoovie contest, and most likely not EASTER either. What a shame...
In other news however, I'm now offering a free sound design service for brickfilmers! With sounds recorded in my brother's professional music studio as well, so they're garenteed to be of good quality. I'll have a topic for it soon in the Audio thread, but in the meantime if you're interested just contact me via PM.
Happy Birthday Quentin Tarantino!
I'm really happy with how Tybalt Vs. Romeo is coming together. I have a couple of scenes to go, though. Lots of dialogue. I haven't, yet, planned out Mercutio and Tybalt's fight.
EDIT: 100th page of Cafe Corner for me! (I view with 70 posts per page, or something.)

How long does it usually take you to make a film from beginning to end?
How long does it take any of you?
I would imagine the amount of time is dependent on film length.
That depends on how long the film is planned to be and if you take breaks or not. I started Bricks: Episode 1 last summer and I'm still not done. I'm currently on a break until I finish sorting my Lego pieces.

In case you missed it, LegOpinions used the key terms "old PC" and "finally gone bust", thus implying it had a certain amount of longevity. Your link was to an ad about buying new computers, not old ones. The ad is total nonsense and had absolutely no relevance to what had happened. We would all love to be able to buy $2,000+ computers, some of us can't but that doesn't mean we should state that PCs have a downside. At the start of the 21st century, they don't. Unless you would prefer to try animating on a type writer or calculator. Perhaps film would be better then a personal computer? Or maybe an old IBM...?
