Your right, but I never really felt that I should spend a whole ton of money, on a hand held when I could just buy a full console for (at least with the 3DS and the psp2) about the same price.
Pokemon was pratically the game of my childhood, I have so many memories with it. And I love the music in the older games (Gen I II and III) but I also like some of the newer music. In fact, I'm learning the Goldenrod city theme on the piano now.

Ah, Pokemon. Best time of my life.
Pokemon Crystal. Best game ever. My level 65 Feraligatr (I wasn't very good at levelling up Pokemon when I was 7) managed to take down Red's level 80 Pikachu with one Surf. Oh, and my level 43 Suicine managed to beat every single Dragonair, level 60s and above belonging to Drake of the Elite 4 with a single Ice Beam (I wasn't too good at type-matchup then either, all my other Pokemon had fainted and Suicine had 20 HP. I also used a random repel in desperation).
The recent Generations aren't too great, though. Most of the pocket monsters are more childish cartoons than proper Pokemon with deep histories and backgrounds. The original are the best.
You're just trollin', Genzarata. Either that or you have some old dust hiding in your brain.
Nah, as much as I love the older generations, I equally enjoy the new games, as ever time they just improve on each other. What I'd love to see is a re-make of Hoenn (Correct my spelling, I know you will) and another FireRed and LeafGreen. There's some really good stuff in those games and I'd love to see them with the newer more improved graphics.
Also, I only like the first 150 Pokemon, because those are the ones I grew up with. And the first GBC game is the best as well, when they started creating New Pokemon it started to suck, but the beginning = magic.
Today, this six-former at our school was playing the original Pokemon Blue. I have now found a new role model. ![]()

This picture sums up most of my knowledge about Pokemon.
Pokemon isn't just a video game...
I WANT IT
EDIT: Whoops, wrong topic...
EDIT: No, right topic. I hadn't realized that the Pokemon thread had been moved.
I remember back in the 90's when I used to watch Pokemon occasionaly. Then they started to create new ones. And new ones. And even more new ones that were crappier, more confusing, and pointless episodes with multitudes of games. That's when I stopped with Pokemon, and I have never looked back. I don't even remember what age I was when I last saw a Pokemon episode I was interested in.
Let the retaliations come...

It's fun to find screenshots of yourself on Halo: Reach, just to find out that you assassinated someone by using your DMR as a knife. Yeah, I'm that epic red guy. ![]()

I'm getting mine today.
My Mum''s picking it up from the post office because I've got a rugby match. ![]()

YER UBJEKTIF ISS UNDERR ATAK!

For Hazzat, who is confused
This was about Pokemon, because the Pokemon Thread was merged with The Video Game Discussion Topic
I was a bit confused there, until I found out that the Pokemon thread had been merged. Ah well. LegOpinions, correct spelling, well done. I thought I wanted to see Johto remade, but looking at the new game... na.
This was to do with the large Halo: Reach image
And if we're on the suject of Reach, I'd like to say it's BEAST.
