The Painter - A World War 2 Story of friendship and human desire to kill...

This is the thread for my new Tales of Yore Entry 'The Painter'

The Basic Idea/Storyline-
A Dutch 19 year old
living in Holland in 1940 is hiding a young German soldier who was injured during the invasion.
This soldier doesn't want to fight, so 4 years later the Americans and the British invading try to kill him....

The idea sounds okay, not the most original idea, but it has the intangebles to become an emotional brickfilm. However, I don't like the fact the you have only the Americans coming to kill the soldier. You should maybe add some other allied forces as well, not just one army.

Why is this called the painter? Other than that, the plot sounds good. Reminds me of "All Quiet on the Western Front" (kind of) mini/tongue

It's called the painter because the Dutch man loves painting and Painter is his nickname.
