I think this pretty much belongs to Boardon (Right spelling?), and I must say, fair deuce to him for actually making something, and something that was pretty darn cool too. Looking forward to the return of the weekly challenges greatly, just please, whoever wins, don't give us something with a high level of masking involved. Ta.

... BoardRon ...

I have some ideas for the weekly challenge, but it will be quite a challenge indeed...

Masking? Well, that is up to you.

Let's wait for Bricklords verdict first.

Re: The Animation Challenge

I was hoping it would go back to Bricklord or NXT deciding the challenges. [/party pooper]

Re: The Animation Challenge

I might actually be able to put something together tonight. It's Friday so I'll have a little time on my hands. My entry may not be masked though, because that's pretty time consuming and I don't think I'll have THAT much time.

Ye be warned boardron. mini/devil

Re: The Animation Challenge

Boardron, ah, my mistake. mini/cat Well, if it's any help to you (Or whoever wins), here are some personal suggestions:

Animal Animation
Alternative Vehicle Animation (i.e skateboarding, riding a bike, etc)
Baking/Cooking
Dancing (Had this one before, but personally I think having it again would be nice)

They would be my personal preferences, but of course it's up to whoever wins. mini/wink

I think animating water would be pretty cool myself.

Re: The Animation Challenge

What about eating, that would be interesting to animate.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Surfing, Fist fight, Parachuting, Fishing, Karate chopping/kicking, or anti gravity would get my votes. Most of them include masking though.

I agree. I have set my mind on "a wave", preferably with surfer. But simply a wave crashing on the beach would be very nice... And a real challenge imho...

Driving a car
TAKING A POOP

Re: The Animation Challenge

No, this is an animation challenge with LEGO, meaning that you're only supposed to use LEGO or similar building toys.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Yeah, I meant using LEGO elements as the water, because you can't...really...animate...real...water...

Although clay would work too, I guess.

Yeah, never mind. I don't want to do this right now, sooooooooooooooooooooooooo...........I lied. mini/cat

Not a bad idea... However, the Onion's idea, ''Animal Animation'', would be nice.

It is, but haven't we had already a Horse Walk here? That's kind of like that.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Sweet, we've never tried our dog walk cycle, but we use a mouse walk cycle in our EASTER film.
