Latin isn't just to show you're a smart-ass. It helps you understand the root of most languages, mainly the ones you take in school (English in particular, some French, Italian, etc). If you know the roots, you can understand a lot more. I'd also like to learn it to invent my own language. That would be awesome, but I'm weird that way.

So I'm painting my RC car's polycarbonate body (or something like that- it's called a Lexan body) and I need a white and a gold. I don't want the white to be dull, but don't want it silvery either. What are the differences in these:
Fluorescent Overcoat White Sprint White Pearl White
Inca Gold Metallic Metal Flake Gold I want metallic gold colors, but which white is a non-dull but not overly shiny? (A normal, bright white is needed)

the entire town i live is is confounded. There was a big boom somewhere and everyone's house shook...? The town i live is is known as "Little Noises" due to small earthquakes, but do earthquakes make booms?

Have fun trying to make your own language. I seriously think it's nigh on impossible for a single person to create an entire language that makes any sense at all and has a word for everything that most other languages have words for. So as I said, good luck trying.
J.R.R Tolkien created an entire elfin language for his books. He spent a long time making it though.
