Topic: EASTER Contest
I understand that in the times of BF, there was a contest called EASTER. Well, Easter is drawing nearer and I was wondering if it would happen again.

Well, if there is I'd more then gladly enter, whether or not there's prizes.
Same. An Easter contest would be fun.

Yes, like THAC or the Septemberfest.
I like the idea but I do not think it will happen because there are a lot of contests going on already.
EASTER only lasts a couple of hours, I think.

The original contest was held in 2007. The gimmick was that your entry could be no longer than 15 seconds, but it lasted about two months. You can read the original thread here.
The winners were:
First - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNNXvtpsBmU
Second - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGvMX-ELG_s
Third - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZrt0RR548Y
I'm not sure if this would work. That would mean no less than four contests running at the same time. The short entry format could make up for this though.
I would enter.

I'd be prepared to organize something, though I don't know how to supply prizes. I understand that the previous contest had a fairly modest prize anyway...

I would enter too.
I'd totally enter, I have an idea in my head already for it. I like the whole 'short' format idea, since with TOY going on, it'd make it much easier to enter.

It's a good idea!
So is this contest gonna happen or what? I also think the time restriction should be bumped up to 30 seconds.

I like the idea of a 15-second film contest.
Me too, it challenges the filmmaker to think outside the box in order to convey something in a short period of time. It also goes for quality of quantity. I suggest someone should just simply make out the rules, maybe a flashy title, and just post the contest. I'd love to enter something into it.
I failed to make an entry to THAC8 and I'm not able to enter TOY. So, I hope there'll be the Easter contest. Like LegOpinions, I'd love to enter something into it. A 30 second film is perfect for me.
