Can you change your email on a youtube channel or do you have to get a new channel. 
No, it's possible. Click on your username in the top right and choose 'Account'. Then click 'Email Options' and you can do it there. If you can't do it straight away, you'll have to unlink your YouTube account with your Google account, but you can put them back together afterwards.

What trick is that?
Well if you have a term that you think people might search for, like, lego batman, or stop motion animation, put it in quotes like "lego batman".
That way, instead of just the words "lego" and "batman" (which you might as well put in the tags as their own words) your video is tagged under "lego batman".
So when people search for FF101, your video is more likely to appear in the results.
