Re: 3 Years of BiM
I have been around since the old days of BF.com

Well,in my second year here on BiM,I'm happy to say I'm a PROUD member of this wonderful website. Happy third anniversary,Bricks in Motion, and hope for what's to come in the future! Thanks to all the people involved in making the site a good one.
I do agree with you though, I think many people have skulked around both Brickfilms.com and BiM before joining. I have to say, I was a bit apprehensive at first.
If I remember correctly, I joined the second day after I found this place! But I did wander around BF.com
Wait, it's been three years already?
My Timeline:
2008: n00b with an attitude and two ridiculously bad Brickfilms to boot
2009: Still with an attitude, but introduced the world to 'Mr Socially Impaired'. A lot of things happened in real life that made this year awesome - but it also helped that my Brickfilms were improving (although it would take me a whole year to attempt something serious again). Created Pirate Pirate 1, then vanished as I turned back to School-work. But, I created my favourite Brickfilm I have ever made, although that may be because it was created during the favourite few months of my life and has a little nostalgia-trip at the end which no-one will get.
2010: Started off with a 14th/17th (I forget) place THAC film - which honestly shocked me. Took a break from Brickfilming because of Exams, but got into ranting much to everyone's misfortune. After trying to re-boot Mr Socially Impaired, my Doctor Who hate lead me to return with a quick bashing of Steven Moffat, followed by my sudden fascination in Gothic horror. This inspired not one, but TWO horror Brickfilms - that are not scary but are not funny either. However, they failed to garner any views, so I begun scripting for Pirate Pirate 2. Went to College (the UK equivalent of 6th Grade in the US) to study Film, Media, Literature, and Theatre - which I am currently doing and will keep doing. Ended the year by creating my first two live action movies. The fact they both suck is aside the point - although I managed to get an A in the assessed piece because of my awesome write-up essay which got top marks (no, I'm not showing off...) Also created another Mr Socially Impaired, which I am very happy with.
2011: Announced Pirate Pirate 2 - due to come out on the 11/11/11, and Pirate Pirate 3 (12/12/12). Begun work on a TOY entry but cancelled it for various reasons. Also made my second assessed live action project (link in signature) which has yet to be marked. Hope to make another Doctor Who spoof (if Series 6 sucks...) and possibly another Mr Socially Impaired.
2009: Pedophilia
2010: Murder
2011: don't wish to say...
...both?
Hippy Barthday! It seems I'm still the user with the most posts on the site, which is quite embarrassing. I've had that spot since the first week, but I don't post nearly as much as I used to. Just Kidden is less than 300 away though...
Lurked for a few months...? I've been lurking since the hay-day of Brickfilms.com, not the forums, but I remember the release of Nathan Wells' first brickfilm. As far as forum spying goes, well, maybe like about a year and a half?
Note to self: Check... membership... registration... date...
I joined just a few months after BiM started, I didn't really lurk at all, but I was, am, and will probably continue to be a "n00b".
3 years, wow!
I used to think that BiM was some cheap Brickfilms.com knockoff. I always saw the link in people's sigs on Brickfilms, and eventually decided to join, where I embarrassed myself with lots of unfunny meme pictures.
Happy Birthd-okay never mind, I'm not going to say happy birthday to a website.
Hoorah for three years
I haven't been here forever, but it has been almost a year. I may not post a lot, but i don't always have much to say. Never the less, i would consider myself active. I go up to the link on my Firefox hotbar that says "Bricks in Motion" almost everyday, i check up on threads, look through questions, and occasionally post, and i feel that is enough to become attached to this place. I don't come because this site is well made, or that I like the purpose of it. I come because of the community, this group of people from around the world who have come together. I know some of the people from BiM better than some of the people in my class, and, in my opinion, I have made friends. Three years means very little to me, but one year with you guys means a whole lot more. Thank you guys for being a part of this site, of this community. Though we don't all get along, I don't think we come back because of Lego, I think we come back because we know that we have people that care for each other, people we have grown on.
Happy Birthday, Bricks In Motion!
My timeline:
2010: Uh... Is it possible to be a n00b and a Winner at the same time?
2011: You'll see...
