i need big help my camera has firewire right but unfortunately for me its right next to the tripod twisty thing so if i cant connect my tripod without taking out the firewire and i cant plug in the firewire unless i take out the tripod help 
I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Do you mean the tripod is blocking the port for the firewire to plug into the camera? If so, you may just have to get a new tripod, I got mine off ebay for £8 new, and its great. Its also universal, so fits any camcorder, camera, DSLR, etc.
