How do I make a video on this website and make it Star Wars.:eh:
Welcome to the website, Evan Addison! If you haven't already, I would suggest that you look at the Beginner's Guide to Bricks in Motion so you can get to know the site better
.
As for your question, it's not simple. A brickfilm isn't something you just whip up overnight (Exept for on THAC
), a brickfilm is an art. You need the right materials (LEGO, camera(s), lamps, etc.) and you need a good story. Good voice acting also makes or breaks a film, as long as your film needs voices. I suggest that you browse through the all of the subforums for your information-this site is for telling people how to make good brickfilms, after all. Also, it's simple if you want to make a STAR WARS film (Although many people on this site dislike STAR WARS due to the unoriginality of it.), just buy STAR WARS characters, come up with a good story, and some good voice acting (And/or good effects).
5. Practice, improve, practice, improve etc.
If you don't know what stopmotion is then google it. That is mainly how we make films here. Also create a script and see how many frames it takes to animate one voice line. Most important is to feel proud that you made it the way it is. Sorta, but that's how I would do it. Also if it doesn't have much voice acting then add lots of sound to make up for it! ![]()
Get creative man, don't create s****y Star Wars movies, we already have enough of those.
I agree. Make a good Star Wars movie, so people will not be prejudiced against "Star Wars Legah Muuvveyz". SO I would suggest adding a twist to the plot, to distinguish it from all the terrible ones. I myself am a big fan of Star Wars Brickfilms. ![]()

Yeah guys, don't make Star Wars films.

That's not anymore of a Star Wars film then this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxADa_DJCno![]()
(Warning: Contains airhumping)
I'd suggest you make something else.... I mean you don't have to be that original just make let's say a Lego Splinter Cell film or something, there ain't much Lego Splinter Cell videos. It's just that there are so many bad Lego Star Wars movies nobody's really gonna watch yours because they'll think it's gonna be really bad (even if it was good). The only way your movie would be watched was if you were really famous already, if you had like 2k+ subscribers on youtube.com or somethin'
On the other hand it's really up to you what you gonna make. I just made a suggestion.
