Topic: Lego Star Wars-Revival of aldraan

well this is the main idea. the republic just won a long and hard battle on the planet alderaan (Or another planet.not sure yet). but most of the man need medical help.so the send a small transport to get to the closest medical bay.but on the journey,a CIS ship destroys it.and they begin to blockade the planet, trapping any republic transports.so the republic must get past the CIS to help there troops?

Don't make a Star Wars film. Nobody likes a Star Wars film. It's unoriginal.

Fah!, have you seen the amount of Star Wars films around here? There are tons of people who like Lego Star Wars, type in ""lego star wars movie" on YouTube and your computer will crash. But I have to say, you may not want to make your first film on here a Star Wars film.

And two off-topic points, one I think you may have wanted to put in a comma (,) for some of your sentences, instead of periods. And two, I think Perfectimation has a better sound too it, but heck, it's your name.

Welcome to BiM by the way.

Re: Lego Star Wars-Revival of aldraan

I mean nobody on this site (but then again, that's an exaggeration). It's better to come up with your own story than just play off of a movie idea. You can make one if you like, but an original idea is better.

Re: Lego Star Wars-Revival of aldraan

I like Star Wars brickfilms*.

*good ones

Re: Lego Star Wars-Revival of aldraan

That's just it. There aren't that many good Star Wars films out there. So most people tend to think a Star Wars film=a bad film. A few people can make good Star Wars films, but that number is incredibly small compared to the amount of bad Star Wars films.

Re: Lego Star Wars-Revival of aldraan

Agreed i like starwars films as long as they are good and clear.

Re: Lego Star Wars-Revival of aldraan

a good clear star wars film is ok to watch, if you where to make a Lego star wars spoof i would base it on one of the 6 movies, mainly the first three they made(4,5,6) but with 2012 coming up so is a release of star wars eposide 1 in 3d so i am making a script based on(nearly copyed) from the old one, so all and all, if you are trying to make a funny star wars film, base it on a movie.
and welcome to BiM

Re: Lego Star Wars-Revival of aldraan

Stay on topic, folks... this is not a discussion of the merits of Star Wars brickfilms.

Perfectmation... it sounds pretty derivative and cliché so far, but if you come up with some creative characters and have half-decent sets, animation, and actors, it might have a chance. Just don't make the same mistakes that most of YouTube does.

With all due respect Noodle, I don't want you here. - Ratboy Productions

Re: Lego Star Wars-Revival of aldraan

I'd mirror what Noodle says, creative characters and some more development to the story. I wish you success.

Please do not listen to people who say this. You can make whatever kind of film you want to! It's not about what people want to see, or what has been done a lot. As for the story, it sounds good. But it might be better if you added a sort of twist to the story, to distinguish it from the other millions of Lego Star Wars films. mini/smile

I agree 50 % of what the dude above said. Many people watch Star Wars films, especially on youtube.com BUT and that's one huge BUT those videos are so unoriginal it's not even funny and there are already way too much SW Lego videos on youtube.

The plot itself does not seem bad but of course this is just a synopsis and if you really worked hard on the script something good could come out! mini/smile

Re: Lego Star Wars-Revival of aldraan

Actually the biggest huge mistake people making is letting other people tell them what not to and what to make and then they get discouraged and don't make any sort of LEGO film at all. I think people should make that first movie or two and not worry about anything, not the youTube hits or the comments, and if they had fun making it they can start thinking about how they can make there next film better.

Re: Lego Star Wars-Revival of aldraan

my first three films where all 'Parts' as such(my computer keep dieing so I had to restart) of a Star Wars film.... star wars as such is the first step in brickfilming, Ok, yea, we should all try some star wars films, make them funny and cool, then at least there will be one star wars brickfilm to watch
