Topic: Help building a convincing warehouse

I'm having trouble fining any good pics of warehouses made out of lego, I need to build one for my film for my media studies production..

Any help would be good here cheers

Re: Help building a convincing warehouse

Do you mean like a haunted warehouse or a warehouse that people work in?

Re: Help building a convincing warehouse

A warehouse that stores things, and I suppose where people also work, but the scene will be taking place at night.

Inside or outside? Maron had one in Air Hockey.

You could make something like the Indy warehouse.

But in LEGO.

Jeepers, this is not an easy one.

All I can really suggest is using the scaffolding in this, http://www.oafe.net/yo/art/legobatark07.jpg (Far right, holding up spotlight), and using large flat gray plains for the roof.

Re: Help building a convincing warehouse

That is a great photo, nice and clean and at a decent angle can't you use that as a backdrop and chroma key in the minifigs ?
Or take it down to the local photocopy shop and get them to print it out on a large piece of paper and use that as a backdrop on your set?

Re: Help building a convincing warehouse

That wouldnt be too hard to make. YOu could build nice big gray walls, and if you had enough peices, use the corrugated bricks (the 2x2's with verticle lines on one side, horizontal on the other) for walls. Then, buil some sort of giant shelves against the walls. That could be made of nx4 plates, with 3 or 4 cylindar 1x1 bricks in between each shelf. Then, put crates on all the shelves, and stick a forklift on the side.

Re: Help building a convincing warehouse

i'm using black foam board for my movie...painted it up alittle...it's jigsaw's warehouse...it works. Actually I'm using black foam board for all the scenes.  I know its cheating alittle but where is the rule book?   mini/lol
